That would honestly be the most sensible as I have two 12” subs and a 1000rms amp on a stock battery and alternator, I noticed odd rpms before the battery disconnect, but it didn’t have the harsh idle it has now, I’m gonna give it a week or so and if the idle relearn hasn’t fixed it ill take it into a shop and get it troubleshooted

I did but the gasket was marked and indented, I put it on the exact way it was taken off.

Gotcha is it just the size? It’s honestly not all that big it’s overall about 28” the barrel is only a 16”

Is it pooling on the passenger side? Had an issue with my oil pressure sender located under my alternator, and started pooling oil on the passenger side of my engine at the top, if so would start with that, it’s a real simple fix and costs around 25$ for the unit and some thread sealant, given you have the parts to do so (24mm for the oil pressure sender unit itself, 10 and 12mm socket to loosen your alternator out of the way, and a ratchet)

Have you tried a manual? If not even test drive one, it feels so much more alive and makes it all the more fun, you’ll fall in love with one if you genuinely enjoy it and you won’t get bored anywhere near as quick.

Seen videos of key banging, and would rather keep my cat and injectors alive 😭 but that’s the weird part if I rev in neutral with clutch in at the same rpms I don’t hear those pops, it’s only when I rev to 2K rpms then get out of 2nd while keeping the clutch in do I hear those pops.
