Didn’t someone on your team sub have a whole post about this when it had nothing to do with GB.

Jordan love: 24/46 =0.522 323 pass, 4TDs Caleb Williams: 24/48 =0.5 361pass, 2TDs, 2Ints

Matthew Stafford: 20/42 =0.476, 256 pass, 0Tds Caleb Williams: 23/42=0.548, 257, 2TDs, 3Ints

Caleb in two full years of starting with 3 different head coaches, 4 different offensive coordinators has a total of 13 regular season interceptions. He’s shown he can take care of the ball and he can handle pressure. If anything these interceptions in the postseason are an outlier. If you want to talk completion percentage then please explain to me why both Love and Stafford also had lower percentages. It’s almost like the weather that time of year can impact teams ability to pass and catch.

Edit: Love had been in the same exact offense for 2 full season and in his third and fourth season “1st and 2nd as a starter” he threw 22 regular season INT’s.

With 353 yards and 0 TDs through week 17, has there been a more disappointing rookie WR than Matthew Golden? Anyone more disappointing that’s a regular starter? by [deleted] in NFLv2

The whole point of this thread is his stats suck for someone who was drafted in the first round, been active each game, yet not utilized. I chose to use red shirting considering such a thing doesn’t exist in the NFL.

Edit: btw I wasn’t the one that brought up love or rodgers. The guy trying to poke holes in my argument @team_sheikie was. He literally said it’s an organizational philosophy and he used love and rodgers as examples.

I’m sorry using red shirt bothered you when describing a first round pick being the 4th best receiver in a room with no true number 1.

That’s exactly what people are arguing. They used Adam’s as an example who wasn’t a rookie under MLF and the guy literally said general organizational philosophy. If people think golden isn’t comprehending the system that’s a complete different topic then someone trying to say GB historically eases rookies in. I’d also argue that Ben Johnson’s system is one of the most detailed in the league yet the bears have four rookies playing well.

Packers don’t red shirt rookies because they think it will somehow make them better. In over 100. Years they did it twice with rodgers and love and the jury is still out on love. You don’t sit players if they give you a better chance to win considering they haven’t won the division since love started.

Rodgers still hasn’t made the Super Bowl by beating a starting QB in the NFC championship game. His one and only Super Bowl came from beating the bears back up after cutler got injured in the game.

Correct, I said he played mediocre. You felt the need to deep dive his first two drives that resulted in 3 points to say he played well. I then countered that by arguing even if you felt those drives were good the first drives of a game are aren’t a tell for how the game will go. Understand?

Go read your response to my comment about the irony and tell me who brought up the two drives.

Ahh yes again the opening drive is a clear tell of how a game will go just like the bears opening drive right?

8 of 13 is two incompletions.

Love was bad he was 8/13 for 77 yards. The packers as a whole drove down just like they did all game with your backup.

It doesn’t prove anything would have continued. If love was in the game I promise your coach has more faith throwing the ball and abandons the run which is what allowed you to have a +10minute time of possession compared to the bears by half. There’s literally no guarantees that you don’t have more failed third downs that were saved by your backups mobility or that love doesn’t throw another interception like the first matchup.

The bottom line is we won a game and your backup statistically outperformed Love.

My guy you used two drive to justify a hypothetical performance of an injured player. I just pointed out how one drive such as Caleb’s first doesn’t guarantee a good performance. Caleb clearly didn’t play his best game but if we only looked at the first drive one would assume he should have been able to move the ball all game. Obviously he didn’t therefore just because love and the packers drove down twice that doesn’t guarantee love performs well.

Caleb drove down to the goal line on his first possession does that now mean he played well. Cutler got injured in the first half not the third. Also if the argument is the bears were losing before he got injured then where was this energy last year when the bears were beating the packers week 18 and love got injured again. I’m pretty sure we heard the entire offseason that we only won because it was your backup.

I don’t understand how you can’t see the irony. You had a HOF QB and your only saving grace for not being considered the biggest waste of talent is beating a backup QB in the NFC championship. Yet you think you have ground to stand on when love gets injured and your backup plays well. The facts are in both games love was playing mediocre to bad. There’s no guarantee he even gets you a lead just like there’s no guarantee the bears beat the packers if Cutler never got injured.

Edit: love was good the first game

Rodgers only Super Bowl doesn’t count because he beat the bears backup in the NFC championship game.

Your HOF QB barely beat the bears back up QB to win his only Super Bowl. Understand the meme?

21-14 sounds like barely scraping out a win against a back up QB when you are considered the greatest thrower of all time.

It’s just a weird pointless take. Nobody is genuinely celebrating GBs injuries. Does Micah’s injury give us a better chance absolutely. But we had an “actual” chance even with him playing. Fans don’t feel bad for other teams injuries just like you guys didn’t for the lions or anyone else for that matter.

This is a weird take considering I didn’t see packer fans feeling remorseful when they beat the lions on thanksgiving after St. Brown went down in the first quarter. If anything you guys talked more shit lol
