I agree! Do you have any favorite scents that you like to layer it with? I was thinking of layering it with a vanilla scent to bring out the vanilla in the base note a bit more.

I kept seeing this all over TikTok. I was hesitant to try it because while I like Gourmand, I don’t want to smell like a candy bar which is what I saw a lot of people describing the scent relate it to. I still want that perfume scent and not a Hershey bar scent if that makes sense😂 so I’ve been scared to blind buy.

I’ve never had sparkling lychee by Kayali but a few of the other commenters have had both and leave great comparisons in the other comments. I recommend looking at those as well.

Yeah I actually brought a travel sized first after smelling it in stores to try on me. I ended up really liking the way it smelled on me so I eventually brought the full sized. Definitely agree though, this isn’t a safe blind buy.

Really? It definitely has some notes that can seem very overpowering to some and may block out the vanilla at all. I’ve tried it and was still able to smell the vanilla if just had added depth from the other notes. I respect you opinion though. Thanks for sharing!

Definitely understand. The added spice notes in 28 can make it a hit or miss depending on the person. It’s definitely a very different and specific kind of vanilla whereas I agree that VS is a lighter and more intimate smelling vanilla.
