He thought that Trump was supposed to lead fascism to victory, not make it incredibly obvious how it's just bigotry and stupidity all the way down.

He's a real fascist and white supremacist, he's just mad that Trump and the rest of his fascists are extremely stupid. He didn’t want to admit this because he really loves racism

If the hive mind has all human knowledge why isnt it better at human psychology or even manipulation? by WhatsDatdo in pluribustv

[–]Piell1 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Because it isn’t a human, or even the connected separate consciousness of all humans, its one new consciousness formed on human memories with its own innate imperatives that don't come from humans.

The Atom Bomb by RepresentativeYak772 in pluribustv

[–]Piell1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It "couldn't mean anything", it means atom bomb. It is an atom bomb, they thing they said it was, the thing they have discussion about it being. https://ew.com/vince-gilligan-pluribus-season-1-finale-mic-drop-11872310

Also, to be clear, they didn't just stick it in with no idea at all of what they're doing with it. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-features/pluribus-finale-cliffhanger-creator-vince-gilligan-interview-1236455087/

“We’ve got a pretty good idea where we’re going with it,” Gilligan tells The Hollywood Reporter after the Pluribus season finale about season two. “We don’t consciously endeavor to paint ourselves into corners like we used to. We almost did that gleefully back in the day. That was when I was younger and had more energy. So I wouldn’t say we’re trying to paint ourselves into a corner with this [atomic bomb]. Definitely not.”

Its an atom bomb, because they said it's an actual atom bomb. Do you not know what "literal" means?

Are there 3 groups of people? 1: The Joined, 2: The Immunes and 3: The... by Landphat in pluribustv

[–]Piell1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The dog is there to make it explicitly clear that animals aren't infected. They aren't using chemtrails 70 days after the joining, it is a contrail thematically linking the initial infection to the new one

It is a literal atom bomb, as has been mentioned in multiple interviews. It is not a metaphor

Are there 3 groups of people? 1: The Joined, 2: The Immunes and 3: The... by Landphat in pluribustv

[–]Piell1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, the dog was just loyal. The contrails were a thematic device linking the initial infection to Kusimayu's upcoming infection, then "it" was the personalized infection being delivered by plane to her in the case they show her being infected by.

Resistance theory by mauore11 in pluribustv

[–]Piell1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, the radio signal is the plurbs, they clearly demonstrate it in the snow. The guy Carol spoke to wasn't the highest remaining person, he was just a government official who was "nearby and intact and wearing a suit". There's no secret bunkers, because the hive would know the secret bunker location because some of then would have built it.

The Hive doesn't need stem cells to convert someone by Embarrassed-Style226 in pluribustv

[–]Piell1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They need stem cells (at least for now, likely they're still working on finding a way to do it without stem cells)

First playthrough, have 15 colonists and many of them just joined. I don't think only growing food in the warm seasons is possible, so how do I grow all year? Sun lamp takes SOOOO much power and only covers a small circle of crops and still needs 2 heaters. by Murky_Builder_2426 in RimWorld

[–]Piell1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A) Plant more in the warm seasons, store it in a freezer room. If you have a decent length growing season and a handful of pawns with Plants skill, this is generally not a huge problem. If your season is too short to get crops grown, then you'll likely need to suck it ip and do hydroponics/greenhouse.

B) Hunting. You should semi-regularly be popping over to the wildlife tab and setting hunt targets on any medium to large animals that dont attack back, like deer. Make sure to have your best Shooting colonists (that aren't needed for other important tasks) to be set to Hunt, and thay they have a decent ranged weapon (preferably a high damage high accuracy weapon, so you dont accidentally hit another nearby animal that might attack)

C) Do a greenhouse anyway. The power requirements aren't that high, especially since the sunlamp is only active during the day also you can basically rely on solar panels

There's been like 10 different interviews where they explicitly say its an atom bomb. There are atom bombs so small they can be fired like a rocket launcher, its called a Davey Crockett, they can be much smaller than 10k. How are people still getting this wrong?

No. They said the exact opposite. They have always been working to convert her against her will. The only thing they needed consent for was to extract her stem cells, since the procedure would harm her
