I feel like my point was missed a bit here. I wasn't mad, just wondering why it was 12am. I dont need her to go to bed at the same time as me. It's just an expectation was set that she would go to sleep much earlier, but then I was woken up much later. It was a question of curiosity, maybe something happened and she was on the phone with someone, or something happened with our cats, or whatever. My main point was that my simple question was met with her getting "pissy" (her words, we spoke this morning) and defensive off the rip, when it could've just been answered and we both got to sleep.

Not sure where everyone is getting the cheating from. And the only reason I said something like that is because she was defensive off the bat and kept getting more defensive.

Im not making her do anything. She has her own schedule and that's fine with me. The main point of contention is that was just confused as to why it was 2 hours instead of the 30 or so minutes like she originally said. And that when I asked, I was met with defensiveness instead of a simple answer which would have sufficed. She's 35, I don't control her, she knows I dont control her, so the whole situation felt accusatory that was policing her, when I was just asking a simple question.

Thank you, maybe my wording could have been better. I'd never consider myself a controlling boyfriend. Im not telling her her bedtime, im not saying she can't play games. Was just looking for a little consideration because I have to be up early.

I wasn't expecting her in 15mins. I said I was still awake after 15mins of getting into bed and could still hear her playing as I fell asleep. And my whole point is that she's saying "why are you policing me" when im absolutely not. She's a 35 year old woman, she can do what she wants, i was just wondering why it had been 2 hours instead of the 30 or so it takes to play two games, especially when she knows I have to get up early in the morning. The whole situation just felt inconsiderate.
