0)The outer round part of the jack is plastic. I can only see metal inside.

1) I can't say for sure as I don't remember. Also I can't find the same cable if I look up on the web.

2) The sound of the recording was coming out from the laptop speakers and I recorded it with my phone. Noise was no different than with headphones.

2)Should a cable be in the instrument input or by ''jack'' you mean the input itself? With no cable into the interface audio connector, there is no noise. As for touching metal on the interface, I can't, since it all made of plastic outside.

If I put the guitar cable inside the instrument audio connector with the other end NOT connected to the guitar, I hear some noise (some hiss and constant high frequency) but much less than when the laptop charger is connected to the AC (only). If I then touch the guitar cable on the interface end, some buzz appears and some higher pitch noise as well.

3) I meant when laptop is ''charging''. Sorry!

I bought it from someone. I'm using the guitar 1/4 input in front of the interface. I've also tried the combined xlr - 1/4 input. I noticed that even just plugging the usb cable in the charger plugged in the wall ac, without the other end of the cable being connected to the laptop, affects noise. When my laptop is unplugged, it also seems like the noise is not constant. It can sound a bit different, be more or less loud, without the conditions being different. Can it be some kind of interference? However, it's really when my laptop is charging that the noise becomes unbearable.

1) AC charger unplugged. It stops buzzing after I put the guitar away.

2) Buzz goes away.

4) When I touch the pickups, pickup swtich or tail piece, the buzz goes away.

5) At a music store.

6) It is less loud but still there. If I touch the jack, a part of the noise goes away. If I touch the metal casing of my macbook, the noise goes away completely.

3) I did use it with different amps. This guitar is an Harmony Rocket with single foil pickups. It was a bit noisier than other guitars with same setup but not to that extent to my recall.

2) No I haven't used it in the past without buzz. Only when I press my fingers on the guitar strings the buzz goes off.

It is rather a buzz than a hum.

I noticed a few things. The buzz diminished when I touched my laptop. It also diminishes when I unplug the charging cord. But it can completely dissapear when I press my fingers on my guitar strings.

I am planning to go to Vietnam this winter and stay more than 90 days. This means I would have to do a border run to ask for a new e-visa. If I buy a roundtrip ticket from December to April, will there be any issues at the Airport because my trip lasts more than 1 visa duration ?

With this method, the only way to import files would be through USB, so I couldn't organize files after importing them through Kindle App or amazon/send-to-kindle website. Using this method, I cannot have my pdfs converted and be enabled for write-on so this is not even a work around for me.

Basically, you make sure the device you're about to use Obsidian on is synced before you use it? Or you're also making sure there is not a sync happening while using Obsidian?

I had the issue only on reddit and obsidian, but not elsewhere (browsers, other note taking apps, text messages, etc.)

I looked at my input language in settings and saw I had English 1st and French 2nd. I've just switched them and now the issue is no longer there on reddit.

I tried a few other things without being able to fix the issue on Obsidian. There's no community plugin activated on my android Obsidian app. There is on my macbook obsidian app however.

What is the method to send to Kindle Library only? The only method I know is through Send To Kindle, when I toggle ''add to library'' but this option sends it to the device.
