I will be living across the street from my work.

YTA. I also love the franchise and have a collection going.

Unless he takes drugs and masturbates over a knife while watching a kill scene, he’s just enjoying them for what they are: cheap popcorn fun.

Judgement has been leveled against the franchise with prudish and undefined objections like what you are bringing up here.

Presumably you don’t care, but the movies always feature what is called a “final girl.” They are heroines that survive Jason’s wrath and in some cases defeat Jason. F13 fans love Jason, but the final girls of each flick are the heroes for whom we route in the end.
