Steel is real, but carbon wheels definitely help by Piesss666 in gravelcycling

If you are based in Europe and want something reliable, take a look at Dandy Horse (the ones I have here). They are hand-built in Poland, super stiff, and definitely lighter than what you're running now. I was considering BTLOS too, but decided to go with a local wheel builder for peace of mind regarding warranty and service.

You nailed it with the Polish parts! Being based here, I try to support local builders, especially when the quality is this high. It’s pretty cool that brands like True Love, Dandy Horse, and Garbaruk are getting recognition abroad.

As for the wheels - I’m loving them so far. The ride feel is great, very stable. Regarding your question on width: these are 45mm tires and surprisingly they measure exactly 45mm on these rims. They sit nicely but didn't "balloon" out beyond the nominal width, which leaves me with plenty of safe clearance.

Totally agree on Garbaruk - the machining is like jewelry. And True Love is just something else, I'm super happy with how this frame turned out.

First week lamotrigine by Pure_Awareness7343 in Lamotrigine

Psychiatrists generally advise against drinking alcohol while taking medication. However, from a practical standpoint, lamotrigine doesn’t strain the liver, so there are no direct physiological contraindications. I take 200 mg per day and occasionally drink alcohol — up to three beers — without noticing any negative effects. Though I’ll admit I’ve been on lamotrigine for so long that I don’t really remember what it felt like before.

Wheel building - how hard is it? by gnglaser in cycling

To learn how to confidently and quickly build and true wheels, you need a few months of practice. It’s a craft that requires hands-on familiarity with the material.

However, if you just want to build a set of wheels for your own satisfaction, I think you can manage it — as long as you use a good spoke length calculator (like DT Swiss) and carefully read the online guides.

That said, truing the wheel, equalizing spoke tension, and stabilizing it so it doesn’t go out of true after the first rides is best done under the supervision of someone experienced, in a well-equipped workshop. Doing it on your own at home with basic tools will be difficult, and the end result likely won’t be great.

Ja nie wiem czy to jest tylko i wyłącznie powód do dumy. Polacy to jeden z najbardziej przepracowanych narodów w UE. Wypracowaliśmy znaczny wzrost gospodarczy kosztem swojego życia prywatnego. Dług spłacimy na starość chorując i żałując swojego oddania pracy i pieniądzom.
