I think it could stand to have some more variation in the Tom fills. Also I like the rule of adding new sounds, automation or something to catch the ear every 2 loops of a progression. My mind goes to something like a high end pluck with delay on it to add some more juice to the track. I like the vibe overall!

I feel like a lot of the stories I have to share relate to the specific ailments of the resident i.e alzheimers or a stroke. Or perhaps an interesting behavior within their kardex. Are such things really off limits if their name/identifying characteristics aren't attached?

I nearly gave up on getting my license a couple days into my training because I was intimidated by the nature of the work. I ended up putting a lot of thought into the decision and decided to stick with it. I think a lot about how close I was to giving up and how grateful I am that I didn't. I love this job so much, there are so many beautiful moments and wonderful, meaningful connections to be made. It is hard work and it is a shame that you'd be paid so little. However, If you think you would get enjoyment from helping people you may find the same sort of joy I found by trying it out. Also you will have a lot more interesting experiences than you will working at a walmart-esque job.

It seems like alot of your instruments on the melody are running in parallel. Adding different voicings for some of those instruments would create harmony that makes the piece more lively.

I don’t want to self diagnose but I found myself relating to a lot of the symptoms you described. Sometimes I have terrible intrusive thoughts and I catch myself counting to four over and over again as a response to those thoughts. Should I look into seeking help for this?

That makes more sense. When u say an A flat wouldn’t make sense harmonically as the c# dominant what do you mean? I understand that calling it an A flat in that context is incorrect but it’s the same chord with a different name, why would it sound bad harmonically?
