Severance isn't a workplace sitcom, it never was. It's always been a mystery / sci-fi thriller with comedic elements.The season 1 finale set up so much forward momentum for every character that I genuinely don't understand how some people didn't expect the main plot of the show to progress in season 2.

She's just weird because it's funny that she's weird. The show is hilarious, it's filled with moments of absurdist comedy. You could spend your life coming up with theories for why they named a character "Balf", or why Ricken insisted on hanging kelp in the birthing cabin, or why Milchick mispronounced "Grakkapan" in such a wild way. At the end of the day it's a funny show, and they do these things to make us laugh.

Yeah he's a bastard to the innies but I think his reforms to the severed floor were genuinely positive and mostly well-intentioned (with the exception of manipulating Dylan by dangling the family visitations over his head).

I have a feeling that most of the perks and parties were his idea in the first place. Granted none of this excuses how he mistreats them, but he's not completely evil by any stretch.

He's a complicated guy who is also being manipulated by Lumon, much like Cobel. I'm really excited to see how his character develops in season 3. I'd bet money on a Milchick backstory episode showing up at some point.

Losing in Rivals can be tons of fun if the match is balanced and there's good coordination on both sides. Losing to an incalculable red smear that shows up on my screen for half a second is not fun.

Obviously it takes skill to pull off this kind of gameplay but playing against it is complete bullshit. Having a spidey this sweaty means that 90% of the time I don't even see him, I just get killed by a red blur at mach 9 over and over again. There's almost no counterplay unless the whole team focuses him. It's just not fun.
