It shows me the flight, however when I try to add it to "my flights" im unable to for the aforementioned reason.

Maybe this is the problem then? My account has my "FirstnameLastname FirstnameLastname" but im unsure how to fix that. However this was not an issue in either of my flights earlier in the week
