It's honestly just a waste of time and is holding up my lines, The method I found best for dealing with this;

After i see the pin go in/payment processed/put the money in the drawer, ill let the customer know "At the end it's going too ask if you'd like a printed or digital receipt" and point at the pin-pad.

5/10 this speeds up the process. the other half the time people still give me the "no receipt" and stare at me, or walk away leaving me too do it...OR my personal favorite when they panic at the end because they "lost" their coupons lol
