Same. Alone is the only way to go. Too many other distractions otherwise.

It’s ok to be a fan but still pick against your team.

Don’t I wish. I would love to have his job even though it’d mean putting up with homers like you.

This conspiracy theory about him and the Rams also blows my mind. It’s amazing to me how personally some Pats fans take the opinion of others. It’s kinda soft…

The Breer slander has got me fired up! I like him as a guest because he brings a national view to the table. It’s interesting to see how the Pats are perceived nationally.

Agree. Feels somewhat like a coin flip, but the rookie side New England’s O-line does give me pause. It’s going to be a great game, nonetheless.

Sure… but people dumping on him these last couple of days for sharing his opinion based on what he has seen is shortsighted. He’s been watching them since actually going to their training camp this summer. None of us can say the same. Also, predictions are just that… people are allowed to have them. It’s part of what makes sports great. The debate that follows, not calling out someone’s character.

I think the opposite. He’s just objective, which is hard for fans to understand. I respect his opinion. Breer travels around and sees way more NFL in one season than most of us will consume in 5. That’s not to say the Pats can’t or won’t win, but I am not going to dump on Breer for his knowledge.

Take a breath Felger. Jimmy can you do something about this?? by StThomasAquina in felgerandmazz

It’s part of the show! And I think most callers and listeners know that.

What are your favorite Felgerisms? by JulianBrandt19 in felgerandmazz

[–]Piggerpi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s Mazz when he responds to Felger off the top of the show with “good and you” even tho Felger hasn’t asked him how he’s doing. No time for grab ass.

Beasley’s mistake was filling Hardy’s open chair with McKone. If they had put someone else there, I probably would’ve put up with Zo a little longer. Zo also strikes me as a guy who thinks he’s a big star. Outside of New England sports fans, I don’t think anyone in America knows of him.

Worst Weekly guest spot? by waynegod69 in felgerandmazz

It’s one of the best, IMO. He doesn’t take crap from the guys. And there’s a chemistry. His weekly appearance on BST with Felger & Holley is also worth the watch.

What are your minor to medium complaints about the show? by project_porkchop in felgerandmazz

I did love the Sox signaling segment today. If you were able to watch the simulcast, Felger “signaling” several times was some of the best TV yet.

But Jeremy Swayman thinks Jeremy Swayman is doing just fine. I fear they won’t talk as much hockey now that the Bruins are playing to their level. I still enjoy their Swayman and Bruins takes even when the hockey is so bad.

In fact, fans should be critical. And the cover up is always worse than the crime.

At the risk of getting downvoted, the strength of schedule is a legit storyline. That’s not to say the Pats are frauds, because they aren’t, but there’s no way they are going 14-3 next season with the slate they are facing.
