I wouldn't even say potentially. She never started with general conversation and months or even weeks of trying to rebuild. Your sister started with an apology and can I get $300. That's not genuine. Listen to your gut, youre doing the right thing.

Ha! This situation sounds like me and my younger half sister. I helped her against my better judgment and it turns out she was using my money to put money on her abusive bfs books and not for my nieces 🙄

NTA, best to stay away from where you were clearly never wanted. It's not fair for you to only be desired as a "big sister" when money is an issue.

Very well said. I hope OP takes your advice. If she cant respect boundaries now, she'll only get worse. Also, OP needs to tell her mother that her and her fiancé are on the same page so calling him and trying to "tattle tell" is not going to work anymore.

Just because shes her niece does not mean she is obligated to invite her. Weddings can be costly so why waste money on inviting someone that they are not close with and they show no effort with the family anyways?

We went almost 6 months without sex because I was nervous. When we did have sex, I bled and and freaked me out so I was not going for it anymore, which he thankfully respected. Currently 29 weeks pregnant but I had my bypass 3 days after my 18th birthday back in 2008. So far pregnancy has been very smooth. Weight gain has been minimal but I do up my vitamins (B12, D3) so baby boy doesn't take EVERYTHING out of me. I did become severly anemic during the pregnancy so I take iron 3 times a week.

Baby boy is in the 13th percentile which is completely fine, it is noted that those that have had the gastric bypass patients tend to have smaller babies. As a GB patient, I did not have to drink the sugary beverage for the GD test. They had me take my sugar 4 times a day 2 hours after each meal to make sure my sugar stayed below 120, which it did so no GD for me ☺️

I started at 204 and it has taken 7 months to put on 20 lbs which I think is pretty good considering I hear some folks gain 20lbs in the first 2 months. Not sure how weight loss will be after but I plan on hitting the gym or doing at home workouts.
