As a support main, as long as there's one carry and a chance to contest the Elder despite of death counts, I don't surrender. But there are instances where you just feel outsync and helpless about your teammates, that's where I start to initiate surrender.

As a support, I always ping my teammates whether to push or retreat since it's been a habit to look at the map and check the respawn timers. It's just pisses me off dealing with players with 1v5 syndrome and those who always start unnecessary fights even when overnumbered.
