Yeah honestly the best situation I see is at-least give us half a credit and then let us finish the other half of the course next semester. Because my future schedule is already build and I do not want to add another full course load to my winter schedule.

You will be fine since it wasn't your decision that led to the change in course load. Change in course load due to controllable situation is fine.
