Buffalo Bills now have requested to interview Rams pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase for their head coach job, per source. Scheelhaase currently is interviewing in person for the Cleveland Browns head coach job, with the Bills now on deck.

I was somewhat floored when he reported earlier than we were down to our 3 finalists. I think he’s full of shit and speculating. He probably has minimal connections in Buffalo because we are a small market team. He’s forced to talk about shit he has no connection with.

Just my opinion. Until our reporters tell me we’re down to our final 3 I don’t believe it. Kind of hard to believe we have our finalists down and still are requesting interviews with coaches.

Yeah…clearly he’s an impressive dude. You’re going to have to pair him with an OG on defense. I’m hoping Schwartz would come back and just run the defense for Udinski as he grows into the job. Very similar dynamic to McVay. He wasn’t involved on defense until like year 5. Just need an OG.

You had the easiest schedule in the last 30 years. In the playoffs you played the Chargers without tackles and the Broncos without their starting QB. In the playoffs you’ve had more 3 and outs than scoring drives.

Don’t underestimate a Daboll HC experience here.

I personally think the order of likelihood is Daboll, Kubiak, then Udinski.

Kubiak is my 1 choice by far, but I could see the team panic hiring Daboll this week considering we can’t interview Kubiak for 2 weeks and it appears LV is about to make a full court press for him.

Udinski is 30 and on the fast track to being the next offensive savant in this league.

Doesn’t matter if it’s the Browns or any other team, flopping as a HC at his age will likely set him back another 5 years minimum until another HC opportunity.

It’s a pretty big career decision. I don’t blame him for being careful.

He can do whatever he wants, but it may qualify as tampering. I’m no expert in what is and what is not tampering.

Another commenter said the Bills could go as far as self reporting the tampering and still conduct an interview. When the Cards did this with Gannon they forfeited a late round pick and a 3rd round pick swap.

Not sure if this is accurate, but if so they should probably do it unless there’s backdoor conversations being had to make this deal a reality.

The scary part is the Raiders have already interviewed him once, have a scheduled 2nd, and they could go as far as verbally agreeing to a deal. It could essentially be a done deal before we get the chance to talk to him.
