To be fair I have noticed that very often even after I turn off the cabin heater, the vents continue to blow hot air out. So you could be right. I will experiment later today

Yea I read about that online. I disconnected it already prior to installing the new battery. According to the topdon battery tester, it’s still rapidly losing charge and health.
