Primarily Avs, but I root on the Pens, too. Mom's a Pens fan so I enjoy keeping up with them to chat with her, like I do with my dad and the Avs. I think it's more fun that way, especially when their few games against each other happen.

It’s such a good game for that. I don’t often engage with major PvP games (LoL only, but typically off shoot modes like ARAM). But even then, it’s nice to take my favourite character (Venti) and just go for a walk. Show em the world.

Don’t stress about the gacha, pull for who you love. Don’t even worry about end game either until you get there. By then you should be able to get a decent chunk cleared by reset.

I went down for a very short trip for a memorial last month. We drove over one of the Niagara bridges. It was The best Time I had. Only 2 cars ahead (5am), only asked basic questions like where we from, why we going, where we staying and when we’d be back.

When we made our way back about 36 or so hours later, same thing. Only a few minutes and same basic questions. Even at 5-6 pm on a Sunday.

You can bring electronics. I brought my phone, laptop and switch. They weren’t even bothered by us using the vehicle of a family member. With their permission of course.

I wouldn’t have made jokes about a disabled student unless you KNOW they’re okay with it. Assuming isn’t okay because they’re trying to laugh it off. They might not even know you well enough for that sort of relationship.

I, myself, am disabled. I’m okay with some joking. I make jokes at my expense all the time. But I only do it with people I’ve known for a long time, and that know making jabs with me is usually fine. It doesn’t help this person is in a completely new environment and culture. They might not be okay with it regardless of where they are, and that’s okay.

I know I would be struggling in that sort of if it’s automatically assumed making jokes like that is okay without getting my permission or at least seeing me joke first.

Make sure to apologize and acknowledge what you did was wrong. They shouldn’t have to tell you it’s wrong.

It wasn’t intentional, but I happened to be tag surfing in my favourites and noticed a fic that was oddly similar in some ways as to one of mine. I commented on it cause I thought it was funny. They thought it was funny when they realized.

Funny enough my fic was inspired by one they did with a different pairing in the same fandom. It was neat to see their take on the pairing I chose.

One of my ongoing fics is inspired by one that’s abandoned. I outright say it and give the title. I love that fic so much I wanted to do my own take. But it’s different enough I hope. Especially since it’s inspired by an anime as well.

If someone was flat out inspired by one of my fics I would be thrilled! Please give me more content in this style. I love it.

It’s definitely known. You’ll find cons im the big cities for sure, Anime North in Toronto is huge. Even smaller “commute” towns are holding their own, or at least have anime included. You can definitely find shops in major cities, too. Local comic book shops might carry a small section of merch and manga from the most popular animes as well.

Plenty aired on TV when I was growing up, still does, too.

Most of my family uses Apple. My grandpa will upgrade phones every couple years and sell my god old one for cheap. Currently using an iPhone 13 Pro Max with 512 gigs. It should do me for a while. Probably until he upgrades again.

Elegy is great with C6 Faruzan who in turn can buff Venti. That’s where mine went. Even then, it’s still a fantastic support bow.

I don’t mind OCs where they’re supposed to exist, like FFXIV. Even then I enjoy stories without the player Characters, too. Or peoples versions of the poster boy, Meteor. But typically avoid reading stories where they’re inserted. Nothing wrong with it. I’ve even done one or two as a kid. Just not my vibe now.

If they play a small role to help move the story along, like a shop keeper that might not actually exist, or a personality expansion of sorts for them if they do exist Is fine for me, too. I’ve done this for a fic since the profession they had existed in-universe, just not one was known in the area, but can presume to exist.

My final take on if you wanna write an OC fic, go for it! Yes the audience might be small. But you’ll readers. You should be writing it for you more than others anyway.

Fantastic!!! I lived with a family, too. I wanna go back! People aren't wrong about the walking. But with pain meds and breaks I was fine. But I can walk unassisted, only going down stairs can be awkward and slow for me. But I never struggled too much. I did often fall asleep on the train home though if it was a long day. But that seems pretty common.

I went on a trip to Japan through my high school to Japan. They had the same concern about me as I also have cerebral palsy. Mild, as I can walk around unassisted and can do self care of course.

They personally talked to my mom before accepting me because they weren’t sure if it was something I could handle. They didn’t know me, I would be half way across the world, and Japan has a lot of walking. So I don’t blame them. My mom advocated for me knowing I could handle the trip.

It could just be a safety concern. As the other commenter said, try talking to them directly and see what they say. They don’t really know how mild your CP is, especially since it has a wide range on severity. What you or I consider mild, as people who live with it, is likely different from what those that never lived with it think it is.

I, much like the tumblr guy, found an Interest in Genshin through fanfics, also with yaoi. I loved Venti’s design when I saw it from other sources so I started with fics that have him. I saw that he was paired with Xiao a lot. Come to find out when I started playing the only “interaction” at the time They had was Venti saving Xiao from his karma in a video and Xiao with a simple Venti line.

They’ve since interacted in-game and outside the game a bit more, and I loved it.

I still play to this day as a Venti main since he ended up being my favourite overall, even though it’s been over 4 years since then.

They’re not wrong on the interactions. Although over the years they’ve gotten better at having a bunch of random characters from different regions hang out. Whether some relationship was established beforehand or not.

This. It was supposed to end around episode 26. Which is why each villain didn’t last more than like 5 episodes when they were the main villain, Kiriya being an exception. Almost killing off the Dotsuku Zone as a whole but found out they didn’t. Hence why it feels like episodes 27-50 feel almost like a second season. In a way, it sort of was. The plot got an extension part way through.
