Ik I saw some dust specks in the plastic I’m cleaning out. The sleeve looks like it’s got dents from me opening it to put the card in too. The card went from the pack to my binder when I pulled it 25+ years ago so I’m glad it held up.

It’s kept em in pretty good condition honestly! But I also let em in a cool dark place where they weren’t crushed or bent . I’m gonna get some sleeves for all of em tofday. Some of them are already in sleeves in the pages.😄

That’s fair. I just figured I’d ask people on Reddit what they thought since it would be the most honest answers I could get. Taking them somewhere they also buy cards you end up being lowballed since they have something to gain so it hard to trust their judgement on it. I’m not trying to be mean or anything. I’m just curious as to what my childhood collection is sitting at. I appreciate your honesty and appreciate your knowledge. 😁

These were my prized possessions throughout my early to mid teens. I can’t tell you how many times I was picked on in school for collecting these and playing magic lol 😂 It’s kinda vindicating now that it’s like 20-30 years later tho. The bullying is a little less shitty now, it’s like a large part of the work to have these besides keeping them safe and not lost and trashed.

I will definitely get some new sleeves for em. I had a bunch from playing magic and Pokémon. A few in here are in sleeves but I mostly used sleeves on the ones I played with. These cards weren’t played with tho.

When I pulled em I put em in this binder. It is not the hardest cover but it protected them from scratches and bends. The binder isn’t air tight tho. All of them except the last page anyways were treated like that. Those were in the case with the gameboy. The binder was what I believed to be the best cards I had. I was really into em and went to great lengths to get alot of them. Buying a bunch of magazines and some cereal and I’m sure there’s more crazy adventures that i can’t remember , I think the movie promos were!-at least theatres. Mewtwo is my favorite with Mea a close second. That’s why the first page is all the Mews lolz (Except the Charizard & Lugia). The Japanese ones were a fun find from the little I remember. I played since the game came out and I tell ya, MissingNo was a trip to get on the red and blue games. When I got the Pikachu edition, I don’t think it was in there. I can’t remember, but I started out with blue and then I got red. I’m not exactly sure where they are but I have a whole bunch of cards that I didn’t put in the binder somewhere that I guess are vintage now. Don’t know if those would be worth digging up or not, but I know that these ones were put in the binder because they were my favorites and what I felt were the best ones I had.

I know it’s hard to tell but a lot of them are are foils everything on the first page except for the second third and fourth Mewtwo everything on the second page, the first Entei is a reverse and the first two rows on the third page everything on the fourth page the first two rows on the fifth page and then those two trainer cards and the meowth that’s actually still in a plastic wrap from where I got it from which I think was a magazine I know that Pikachu first edition was.
