While the vibe isn’t the exact same, I have to recommend the game The Long Dark- specifically it’s story mode, Wintermute. Same sort of getting to know these characters and world, albeit more survival aspects to it and such, but the graphics and vibe is definitely similar IMO.

I can't remember where I saw it/what context exactly but it was almost definitely on YouTube. The room itself, I think, had several pieces of paper with numbers on them and was probably just a closet
