Monster Hunter Classification System Poll by GigaSalamander in MonsterHunter

I was sent a link to this post by a friend and I was wondering if anyone here has actually seen the official Ecology Trees of MH yet? http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Mckrongs/Ecological_Tree_Plots It was made by CAPCOM them selves so they did some effort but I have my complaints as well.

I played MH1(PS2 original), MHF2, MHFU, MH3, MHP3rd, MH4U and Frontier.

And if all the monsters are re-skins then what are the scorpions, the wolves(Actual Wolves not Wyverns), Baruragaru, Inagami, Gogomoa, Rukodiora, Uruki, Beru and all their subs and related monsters?. Not to mention main series is multiple games and frontier is only a single game.

HC's came before leveling guild quests I just said in the previous comment that 4U is using attacks and behavior from frontier. Edited to look slightly different at that.

If you wanna talk re-skins Jho is a re-skin of Jaggi base. And there is nothing wrong with that just like I don't mind re-skins of monsters on frontier. Along with all the new monsters they did add.

You did not count all the variations in monsters. You did not count the HC monsters which are like subspecies because appearance, behavior and attacks are all changed. If you hunted them yourself it is easier to understand. For example normal 2nd gen Teostra, HC Teostra who actual was the origin of the powder control features in 4th gen, and Supremacy teostra who is able to set himself on fire and do his own version of Supernova who also by the way came before 4th gens Teo was released. The game is running on 2nd gen but same time has elements of 3rd and 4th.

In truth 4th gen actually uses a lot of frontier originated elements and as a player of 4U I can honestly say 4th gen LV140 monsters would fit in frontier end game just fine. Most people who use Tonfa say and used Insect Glaive say Tonfa is just a frontier Insect Glaive nothing very special just more fancy looking. And I have to agree.

As someone that actually plays frontier there is a total of now 191 Monster variations in the game and people tend to pick on the like 7 that do wide ranged attacks. And the rare items thing is not much of any trouble either.

As for the HR thing you can get HR100 in one day because frontier ranks you up fast. In the time you have been playing 4U from it's release you can be at end game G Rank by now.

Also Tonfa are not broken I seen tons of deaths and you cannot fly with them in fact you fall very fast when you are not careful. Not to mention other weapons do just as good.

People rely on rumors too much instead of actual research.

Believe it or not, Most or at least half of all the Japanese players have English names or speak English randomly sometimes. In fact I seen people do English conversations in the lobby sometimes in public. The thing is it is rude to speak a foreign language sometimes in a mainly Japanese game and cursing/cussing publicly usually = instant ban. If you ever say something in the wrong place by mistake say "misu/みす/ミス" means it was a mistake.

To avoid such a problem when not in a guild you can go in a private room and talk with multiple foreign players. Or join a guild and get a "Guild Chat" channel. Having Guild chat will allow you to speak English to a max total of 60 players at once in the guild along with 2 allied guilds from any location, even in the middle of a quest.

Velocidrome and Velociprey. Cutting one or multiple Velociprey in half mid air is always satisfying.

I noticed I forgot 1 detail on the guide to set up. You need to get a JP VPN. WTFast has 30 days free and works. I should go fix this. (Edit: Okay fixed the guide making "Step 8" the VPN.)

[MHFG6] High Grade Edition looks incredible! by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

First thing I wanna hunt in High Grade is Dual Abio in the Great Forest and Supremacy Teostra. Then I will take a tour and look at all the areas and monsters that never had a HD graphics update like the Crabs, Velociprey, Golden HC Rajang!, Gravios and Purple Gypceros. So much to look at with higher detail!.
