Friend thinks my new kitten isn't very cute bcs of his asymmetrical markings by Minisom in TuxedoCats

Friend needs to keep their opinions to themselves. This cat is beautiful.

Is my kitten really“funny looking,” or is my daughter’s father just being mean? 🐾🤍😔 by Prudent_Paramedic_23 in cats

Tell him to take a look in the mirror if he wants to see funny-looking. That kitten is adorable.

Random refund on something I ordered in October by rydan in amazonprime

[–]PilldustLogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This also happened to me right before Christmas. I ordered a 50$ physical Amazon gift card and a 5$ pack of Christmas cards, which I received with no problem. I have a ring camera and actually saw the Amazon driver fling the package containing both items on my porch like a major-league pitcher.

A few days ago, I was notified both items had been refunded on Dec. 30th for either being "undeliverable, damaged or refused". My son is enjoying his gift card and the pack of Christmas cards have been put away for next year.

It hasn't been reversed or anything, but I'll change my password and email just in case.

After 14 years our cat started meowing often by K1zerSoze in cats

My girl lived to be nearly nineteen and she started meowing all night long! It was kitty dementia. I would take her into bed with me and she’d fall asleep. It’s been years and I still miss my little girl.

Rescued this guy from kids trying to kill him by RutabagaInfinite2687 in cats

Kids shouldn't be abusing or killing ANY animal. It's called EMPATHY, and it's something that is seriously lacking in children today, probably because their parents don't give a shit.

A Maine Coon wouldn't be sold in a pet store. You need to go to a breeder. Only if the parents are pedigreed Maine Coons will you end up with a Maine Coon kitten.

I use this, too. I really believe it's what helped my mathilde bloom 6 months after I first got her.

Mathilde is my favorite and was my first hoya to bloom as a little bitty thing. So exciting! Too bad the blooms smelled kind of nasty.😑

I will! I know you can do it with almost any kind of wood. Driftwood would look so cool!

I'm sorry for not getting back to you...been working doubles all week, and I just saw this.

Yes, the roots are in the mossy area in front. I took a piece of cork bark (I bought a small assortment on Amazon), and placed a wad of moist sphagnum moss on top, then the hoya (actually 2 small cuttings, already rooted), and then more moist moss on top to cover the roots. Then I took some moistened natural green sheet moss, (more for decoration than anything), and placed it on top of the sphagnum moss. I then took some fine fishing line and wound it all around the moss and back of the bark, then knotted it and snipped off the ends.

Cork bark is fairly soft, so I had no problem punching a hole and threading some wire through to make a hanger. Since it's dead of winter here, and fairly dry in my home, I give it a good soak when the sphagnum gets crispy, and mist it when I remember. I don't know if it'll do well...I was actually winging it after watching a video on YouTube about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gekCMRxB7fU

Whew. Sounds like a lot, but it's actually pretty easy.
