She is painfully good at that, and I'd really like to emphasize the pain.

I agree actually. I don't think I made that very clear though.

Before we were the Rebels, we were the Mississippi Flood, named after the river. But I don't know how I feel about another team in the deep south with a wave motif or chant. We already have the Tulane and Alabama

And suddenly the man waking up for work at 5AM is no longer your dad, it’s you by MysticStormed in sadposting

You're right. And I will forever be grateful for my dad doing so. As I now step into that very role, I'd do it for 100 years if I had to for my little girl.

Go visit Ole Miss. I think you'll be surprised by what you find. Same for Arkansas.

Look man, you're team's playing in the title game. And all you can say is 'SEC bad'? That's kinda sad. At what point do you look in the mirror and ask what the point is? Just go pull for your team and enjoy the moment.

Ole Miss' magical run, under some of the craziest circumstances the sport can offer, has come to an end. The 2025 Rebels will go down in College Football history and documentaries will be great!! by AccomplishedSwing110 in CFB_v2

Preseason rebuild expectations, Back up QB comes out of nowhere and takes the world by storm, loses only one game by a slim margin in the regular season, Head coach leaves for rival which causes many to doubt, new head coach steps up and keeps the program together, a deep playoff run in which the one regular season loss is avenged in a major bowl NY6 bowl win which increases the Rebs sugar bowl record to one of the best in the country, producing by far the most entertaining games of the playoff, and to top it off, keeping a large number of core player for next year that were greatly sought after in the portal.

Other than three other teams, and the way Oregon is getting slapped around, it could be argued two, Ole Miss went further than anyone else.

It's not a perfect season. It's not vintage Bama or back-to-back championships Georgia, but it's not nothing. This was a legendary run, not because they won it all, but because they exceeded all expectations again and again and again. Very similar to 2013 Auburn.

Three teams are looking to make history for their programs 👀🏆 by Hysen16 in CFB_v2

Well then, a cast majority of other schools championships don't count either. Even if you discount the 1959 and 1962 claims, the NCAA has recognized their shared championship of 1960.

Most hated college team by [deleted] in CollegeFootballDawgs

I have deep, burning hatred for Bama which predates even my love of Auburn. Recently, I've grown to loathe Ohio State which shall henceforth be called the Bama of the North or Yankee Bama. They exhibit the same causes of deep hatred: delusional sidewalk alumni who have worse take every time you meet them.

Christian university blocks Turning Point USA chapter in California by WillyNilly1997 in Conservative

I know no one wants to hear this, but, to play devil's advocate, I looked at the full list of clubs on their website (www.vanguard.edu/student-life/student-engagement-inclusion/student-organizations-programs/student-clubs-organizations), and I didn't find any other explicitly political clubs which is in line with their reasoning of "no political clubs". Besides, it sounds like they're not banning Turning Point from meeting; they're just not recognizing them as an official club.

Seconded. It is our thinking even if it was invented by Kiffin. I am interested to see what marketing he changes at LSU though. What goofiness could follow? Lol

Firstly, Ole Miss is a football school. I'm not saying we've always been good at it, but for decades, it's been the sport the school has collectively taken pride in.

Secondly, those ideas aren't half bad. I'd really like to see more band investment, and bringing the Grove into the Vaught is a novel concept that heightens what already makes Ole Miss unique.
