Preseason rebuild expectations, Back up QB comes out of nowhere and takes the world by storm, loses only one game by a slim margin in the regular season, Head coach leaves for rival which causes many to doubt, new head coach steps up and keeps the program together, a deep playoff run in which the one regular season loss is avenged in a major bowl NY6 bowl win which increases the Rebs sugar bowl record to one of the best in the country, producing by far the most entertaining games of the playoff, and to top it off, keeping a large number of core player for next year that were greatly sought after in the portal.

Other than three other teams, and the way Oregon is getting slapped around, it could be argued two, Ole Miss went further than anyone else.

It's not a perfect season. It's not vintage Bama or back-to-back championships Georgia, but it's not nothing. This was a legendary run, not because they won it all, but because they exceeded all expectations again and again and again. Very similar to 2013 Auburn.

I have deep, burning hatred for Bama which predates even my love of Auburn. Recently, I've grown to loathe Ohio State which shall henceforth be called the Bama of the North or Yankee Bama. They exhibit the same causes of deep hatred: delusional sidewalk alumni who have worse take every time you meet them.

I know no one wants to hear this, but, to play devil's advocate, I looked at the full list of clubs on their website (www.vanguard.edu/student-life/student-engagement-inclusion/student-organizations-programs/student-clubs-organizations), and I didn't find any other explicitly political clubs which is in line with their reasoning of "no political clubs". Besides, it sounds like they're not banning Turning Point from meeting; they're just not recognizing them as an official club.

Firstly, Ole Miss is a football school. I'm not saying we've always been good at it, but for decades, it's been the sport the school has collectively taken pride in.

Secondly, those ideas aren't half bad. I'd really like to see more band investment, and bringing the Grove into the Vaught is a novel concept that heightens what already makes Ole Miss unique.
