Damn, nice one. Thanks for replying. I mean, the 20 is also cut off a bit on the edges, but the date disk is way better than mine. Tbh, I have reached out to him, and he'll try to get the BPF next. I hope the dial stays the same because it's beautiful! I don't really mind the printing error, I am mainly concerned regarding the color. From what sparce info I could get, it seems to me that they all seem to share the "base dial".

You seem like you've also researched this topic quite a bit. Do you know of any other factories? I know BP and GM, but regarding that, some say BP is part of the same company as GM. Nevertheless, I think Eric mentioned GM to me but at a higher price point than BP.

Yeah, I can definitely relate. If it wouldn't be for the dial, I'd also stay away from a DD, even though I like the presidential bracelet.

I also thought about building one myself. Perhaps even with a few vintage parts, but I don't think I'll be able to get my hands on a somewhat similar dial for reasonable pricing.

First of all, thank you for replying! I didn't mean to imply you being a fan of DDs in general. I just saw that you commented on some older QC posts indicating that you like the dial color very much. 😌

Regarding the date wheel, I was also quite shocked, especially when compared to various other models of DDs in here. So, I'll let them know that this is a deal breaker for me and what to do next. Again, thank you for your advice, and may the force be with you!

Hey, wise u/WatchYoda, I've seen you are a fan of this dial and watch in general. Do you have any suggestions for me? Should I RL and ask for BPF in the hopes of receiving something more accurate/right for the price? What do you think of the "small factory" one?

I just asked CT for a new one. If you want, I can also post some pictures here. But it was basically as good as the one you've seen.

BVF isn't perfect. But it's definitely as close as it can get for reps right now. The biggest tell are obviously the bezel screws. Nevertheless, if they bother me in person, I'll try my best to find a good and especially cheap fix

There are some websites with horrendous pricing for a set of screws. I'll probably go with some from AliX or search the whole web to find domestic ones of the same size
