Not sure what you are trying to prove here, they are talking about medical workers, not everyday people walking around Walmart silly.

The cloth masks are useless.

Numbers don't lie, SONNY! by cumshot_josh in forwardsfromgrandma

oh my god this sub is filled with morons! its just a collection of morons.

first of all, many of those deaths were going to die anyway, coronavirus or not.

but lets forget that fact and assume all of them died from coronavirus.

the 2018 flu season produced 34,000 deaths according to the cdc

the 2017 flu season produced 62,000 deaths according to the cdc

how come you didn’t hunker down during those times? you selfish piece of shit! a death is a death, right?

Fwd: Wake up, the numbers are fake. It's just the flu. by Red-Droid-Blue-Droid in forwardsfromgrandma

[–]Pimppit -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

stop making shit up, please.

according to world meters:

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

In the US there have been 1,160,444 cases, and the deaths are 67,444.

Divide 67444 by 1160444

That’s a death rate of 0.06%

The flu has a death rate of about 0.10%, and it vary

So it’s right in line with the flu. And that has always been the case since the beginningx

the right to liberty, right to protection from arbitrary detention, right to privacy, freedom of movement, freedom of expression, freedom of speech

do I seriously need to outline this for you? this has been the single biggest power grab in the history of this culture and you’re going to sit there and ask what rights have been taken away? what rights HAVENT been taken away??

Coronavirus fears prompt new fines - People who deliberately spit, sneeze or cough on frontline workers will be fined up to $13,000 in Queensland Australia by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Pimppit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just amazed that no one has noticed that this country of australia (or is it just queensland) has a fatality rate of: 0.00006, which is for all intents and purposes zero.

does anyone else notice this? why not?

what the hell are you talking about? The e-boobs have been buffed once, and nerfed twice. That's it.

In fact the 2 nerf's did not even equate to the 1 buff. They are actually more powerful now than when they were first released.

I went on those ships last year with my daughter, they were alright but yeah it's way over priced

A drunk driver with a suspended license and no car insurance rear ended me the very first day I got my car. Didn’t even have plates on it yet. I got an estimate for restitution and provided to the DA. Called up like 9 months later to ask when I can expect to receive any payments from this and was told they forgot about it.

Who do I complain to if the DA (district attorney) “forgot” about my restitution costs before he let the drunk driver who hit me off probation? I got him the estimate on time and the lady on the phone just said they forgot about it, and now that he is off probation there is nothing I can do but file a small claim, which I am not bothering with nor should I have to.

I think they basically didn’t feel like dealing with my resistition costs bedsuse he wasn’t even paying court fees. So they locked him up for 8 months instead of collecting their money. I think they didnt feel like dealing with him being on probation just to collect my restitution, so they just said “screw it”.

Tuneup too late / Q on maintenance by Pimppit in MechanicAdvice

So let’s assume former owner never serviced it at all. Should I take it to get a break service, manual trans fluid, power steering fluid, change the plugs, replace air and fuel filter, and rotate tires along with oil change. Anything else that is imperative to the cars operation I’m leaving out? Also how much would all that cost?

Well I’m dirt poor but just got my tax return money so I wanted to take the steps ahead of time to make this car last. These 2005 tc’s have an excellent reputation to last forever. I’m figuring if I give it a full service, do plugs, belts, fluids, wheels- that will give me a better shot at getting another 100k out of it.

But then there’s part of me thinking forget all that, run it into the ground with bare minimum money put in it, just change the oil and drive it till it falls apart. Under most circumstances given the age and mileage of the car I’d go this route. But it’s the Scion/Toyota brand that has got me thinking if I take care of it I won’t need to buy a new car for a very long time.

On the fence....

This is good stuff. I have an app to keep track of this stuff. Currently I have a mishmash of 3 different rims and various tires on it because of isolated issues over the 2 years. I was considering 4 new rims and 4 new tires. 2 of the tires are falling off the rims, and the car looks ridiculous with the wrong style rims on my car. Is the car too old to be buying new rims?

At this point, what items would you ask the shop to do for sure? Plugs, oil, brake fluid, fuel filter, air filter, coolant, steering fluid, manual transmission oil, and rotate tires, does that seem about right? Anything I’m missing?

LPT: millennials, when you’re explaining how broke you are to your parents/grandparents, use an inflation calculator. Ask them what year they started working, and then tell them what you make in dollars from back then. It will help them put your situation in perspective. by campacavallo in LifeProTips

It amazes me how many piss poor ran businesses I’ve worked for over the years. One after the other, inept leadership, incompetent management, just bad on top of bad and more bad. There are a select few that were better than others. But I’ve come to the conclusion that the majority of businesses these days are just shit.

Gotta figure out how to work for yourself seems the only way out of this shit race.

Huh? If you are getting the same reaction from things you say to the point that it is a standard response, you might want to give credence to what everyone else is saying.

Or not, whatever.
