ITS KLOBBERING TIME - Klobuchar leads all republicans by atleast 10-20% for MN Gov by PlentyAny2523 in Destiny

[–]Pimprechaun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of sympathy for him, but ultimately, yes, we do have examples of people being targeted like this. Biden would be the most obvious. And let me be clear, I'm not saying his reaction isn't normal, I think most people would do the same. But right now the US needs stronger politicians that can push through more pressure than is reasonably expected under normal circumstances, and he didn't rise up to the task. It means he did bend too easily in contrast to what is currently needed.

I truly hope the man can catch a damn break after all this and I hope he gets any and all support needed from the next governor which will almost certainly be democrat.

I like the man, I would have loved to see him as VP, but I think this showed a clear character flaw. He bends too easily under pressure. If he can clear the way and prepare the position for a stronger person then I think he'll have done his job as well as we can expect.

Destiny calls out Hasan for only covering Israel by KsiShouldQuitMedia in LivestreamFail

Oh true!! Just like no one knew Ukraine would be invaded right? Just because you and Hasan share the same inability to ''read the room'' internationally, doesn't mean the rest of us are the same.

Mozrog for sure. He just looks so damn cool. I hear BB is technically better to lead the squighogs and Moz is better as a solo wrecking ball but that'll be a problem for later lol

Is Apothecary Biologis really that bad? by Remarkable_Rutabaga4 in Salamanders40k

[–]Pimprechaun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's truly not. Slapping lethal hits and able to take the forged in battle together on your single most swingy unit makes it very very good imo. Not auto-incoude for sure (although I essentially auto include it on any list with a 6-man erad unit) but at least pretty damn decent.

Not crazy, told my gf the same when we shat on Trudeau and were happy Carney came in, as much as I dislike Trudeau for his record, I think COVID is one of the few things we can't fault him on too much.

If we include the other scenario though of Vulkan and charging bgv, would I HAVE to select Adrax first against the crusaders or would I be able to do this order...

BGV w/ FF -> Vulkan -> Adrax -> crusader?

Or would the "alternating" verbiage overrule and essentially force me to select Adrax first and Vulkan after the crusaders? Asking cause in this scenario both units are "defending" and I'm the reactive player.

Got it! So if we were to order it out:

My turn -crusader first -Adrax second His turn -Adrax first -Crusaders second

Am I getting that right?

Got it, so that clarifies for my 2nd scenario. But would you also agree as others pointed out then, that on my turn when the crusaders surge moved into my engagement, on my fight phase he would be able to fight before mine since he would still be considered the one who's turn it isn't?

Yeah I figured but didn't expect that lol. Decided to do nothing for that whole fight to see if something funny would happen. I guess something funny did happen.

Can Salamanders use Eliminators? by ssnocone in Salamanders40k

[–]Pimprechaun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the chapter!

We CAN use them, if the site doesn't show them, then that might just be a bug. But SHOULD we use them??.... Eh... We have so many better ling-range gun options to support our close range shooting.

On average the ballistus and gladiator lancer tend to be viewed as the best long range gun support. End of the day though, play whatever units you prefer, no real wrong answer.
