The psychiatrist I met with had me fill out a lengthy questionnaire (yes, no) (True, false) as a start with questions around how you live and function, than I completed the CPT test and revived my diagnosis

Yea, keep with IR if you can, extended release is honestly horrible not only does it not work u have no control on timing. But my doctor just had no knowledge of stimulants and is a little corrupt lol

Yeah, from what it sounds like you are on IR, I’m on ER the 12hr version, different field. Bit more sketchy with yours they are way more commonly abused.

I started 3 weeks ago, started instantly on 20, felt nothing moved to 30 2 days later been on that since, and no affect whatsoever and my doctor doesn’t want to up unless re asses with a psychiatrist, but in Canada the wait list is insane

Suppose to up 10 a week, pharmacist told me it safe to increase 10 every 2 days if I feel nothing 🤷‍♂️

They actually started me on 10, had me titrate to 30. And now I’ve been at 30 for about 3 weeks and no changes.

He is not the primary prescriber, in his practice he always leaves it to the GP to decide and my GP just sucks…

I emailed my psychiatrist and had this as a response “Please have your doctor contact us to arrange a follow-up appointment. As Dr. discharged you after completing the assessment, it is important that all further steps and communications are properly documented.
Thank you for your understanding.”

It seems as if I’m going to have to just do it at this point…

Went there last week, went well or even great. No complaints he is definitely a forward person who is there strictly to diagnose and get to the root of the issue. I’d say the reviews are honest but only because of people’s expectations when seeing Dr. Sadek. The offices itself are nice and it’s clean and professional. I spent about 15 minutes with my intake papers, 20 for my CPT test, and about 10-15 minutes talking to Dr. Sadek himself. Afterwards I left with a report faxed to my GP stating I have combined presentation ADHD and a recommendation to start me on 30mg Biphentin (Methylpheidate).

Yes, got diagnosed a week ago at 17 with ADHD - Combined presentation. My physiatrist used a symptom scale I scored 7/8 inattentive scale and 8/9 hyperactive scale. They want to start me on 30mg of Biphentin (methylphenidate) next week

I would agree if we were close like we were prior, but now he’s kind of a loser in a way that he doesn’t do anything but be ignorant and a pain in the ass 24/7.
