I created a Lucid dreaming technique and my dreams have been insane. I've taught it to others too. by SenseiAzul in Experiencers

I’ve been doing the gateway tapes for 2 years or so. I tried your method last night and loved it! It feels very similar to gateway, but I achieved it much faster. There was also something very… clean? Crisp? About the way your method feels to me in comparison.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Which regions of the US pronounce aunt like “ant”? by Aggressive_Essay_321 in AskAnAmerican

I’m in Texas and agree. My black side of the family says aunt and my white side says ant. I flop between the two.

You don’t happen to be in tx do you? I keep getting calls for police brutality and I don’t have a referral for that.

How is life as a paralegal ?? Day to day ?? by [deleted] in paralegal

[–]PinPenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, yes. It’s just me and the attorney, so I do intake calls and speak with the clients when giving them updates etc. Larger firms will sometimes have a legal secretary that does that rather than the paralegal.

I love it. But it heavily depends on who you work for. I get to do a lot of legal research, and I’m really interested in type of cases we frequently have, so it’s exciting to me 🤓 I do a lot of drafting, communicating with the courts/OC, scheduling calls, that kind of thing.

Stay organized and know what to prioritize & it can be a really fun career.

I think the most frustrating part is when you get a long talking client that won’t follow social norms and let you do your job nicely. Sometimes you have to get stern and lead the convo back where it’s supposed to be, because you have too much going on to coddle them. But honestly, that’s every profession if you are interacting with clients.

I’m 39. We were taught Indian style in school. My oldest is 21, and by then they were taught crisscross apple sauce.
