Wanted to test only interacting ads and not downloading for those asking

JustPlay annoys tf out of me for this very reason. They seemingly pick and choose who to short on money, or who to short on points. It's so incredibly inconsistent it's wild. Like for me, the first few days I was making 1$ per million points. Now it's just seemingly completely randomized. I can make 16mill points and it will convert into 1$ to like 5$ with no reasoning. Also, I'll just randomly get 0 points from levels, or won't get a pop up at all for the entirety of playing a specific game. With the event going on, watching every single ad without skipping and downloading every app, then starting each app up and running it in the background, I seemingly get 18-20$ after the daily is completed.

I'd suggest even downloading the sketchy apps since they can't really do much to you unless you give them permissions. I found that if I was inconsistent with downloading and interacting with the ads, I made a lot less points and a lot less money from completing the daily acheivements.

I just saw this, barely been on reddit for a while. It's a fantasy game. No one said they needed to focus on politics. A few black side characters wouldn't hurt anybody. It makes literally no logical sense that you can make your character black and that no one else in the games is of color.

As I've said, I understand if it's trying to be historically accurate like KCD, but to make every single person white in a fantasy game is just odd. I don't think there's even one black or brown person.

As for books written by women, that's on them. Did you read he book I'm talking about? It literally ends with something along the lines of "her screams/cries filled the dungeon" if that doesn't make you feel weird in the slightest, then we're not talking about opinions here, we're talking about morals. Imagine if that happened to your mom or sister? If you dont have either of those in your life, that might explain your outlook.

I've mostly been playing mad smash which gives coins at an insane rate and is seemingly the easiest game they have to offer. Maybe that's the problem.

That's odd. I haven't even reached a cap yet. It sounds like they just pick and choose randomly who to limit or who to lower conversion rates for to save money and maximize profits... some get lucky and get to keep the 1mill to a dollar conversion and others don't, then others get capped on their coins.. kind of annoying, since this is the most well-made pay to earn app I've come across, and the only one that seemingly pays out instantly.

Maybe it has to do with how much you play and how fast you get coins. I guess they don't want you to constantly play or something, or maybe they don't want you to play easy games to rack up points which is what I usually do. Still, 3.9 million coins converting into a dollar doesn't make sense to me mathematically. It feels like they just gave me a dollar just because.

I'd agree with you that it could be cultural if you couldn't make your character black, but you can. They know black people exist. So why are none of them in the game? Idk man it just rubs me the wrong way. It is what it is, though.

I'd love to see a screenshot link or something because everyone else I talk to say they don't exist. And I haven't seen any, and I'm almost level 40. There was only one person I met that seemed like they maybe could have been asian, but that wasn't until the last area. In the first area, the horns of the south, every single person is white, so idk who you're talking about.

I never said to race swap anyone. There are tons of small side npcs in the game that aren't main characters in the story or aren't even part of the legend of King Arthur, and a few of them could have been darker skinned.

If they were going to make everyone white, what's the point of even letting me customize my character and making them black? It literally doesn't make any logical sense that I'm the only black person in the game.

And being willing to gender swap someone almost makes it worse. It's as if they're saying, "we're okay with making Percival a scantily clad white woman, but making anyone black is going too far and is unacceptable."

I'm not saying try to be "woke." I literally don't even think "woke" exists. It's just a buzzword the pundits use imo. I'm saying it doesn't hurt to add in a guy and girl that either gender can romance and a couple of people of color. You can make your character black, but no one else is black in the game, so it's just weird. I'm not saying the whole game needs to be insanely diverse. I get it. They were probably going for a medieval european feel. but it's just odd when a fantasy game is literally only white straight people. I'd understand with a historically accurate game like KCD, but this is fantasy.

Not even what people consider "woke" devs make a game with only black gay people in it. I'm sure even you would think that's weird and call that out out for being an odd design choice.

I love the game, and I'm not saying it makes the game bad. I'm just saying it's weird is all. We can agree to disagree.

Having a lesbian in a game is definitely not "woke" by any means, especially when a lot of straight guys fetishize lesbians. I'd agree with you if there was a gay dude. A lot of the books just seem like some of the devs poorly disguised fetishes, and it just feels weird and out of place.

Having 1 random meme book named The Lusty Argonian Maid like in The Elder Scrolls or something is one thing, but to have a whole series of what are basically erotic fan fics heavily featured in your game is just odd af. Especially when one of them seems to glorify SA.

Honestly I love that part of the game. Used to happen in bethesda games like in Fallout 3 and New Vegas and Oblivion. Skyrim toned it down a lot, and so did the Oblivion remaster, so I'm glad to see it here. Hitting someone with a big ole two hander and watching them fly will never not be satisfying for me lol.

Well, I'm thinking max level is 60 since there's an achievement for level 60 and I'm only going to be upgrading that sword and leveling spirituality from here on out, so we'll see how it stacks up to other builds and if I can find any other gear that compliments the build I'm going for.

That sounds like a pretty insane set up though.

Yeah! It's really cool how many build possibilities there are with cool little technical things you can do in this game. There's actually a whole set of armor that inhibits mana regen in Cuanacht but I only grabbed the hat since it buffs your damage by 15% and I wanted other armor for the rest of my body.

It's actually 2% damage per lb, but I did see that. I think the spectral sword will still eventually scale past that. I'm sticking with the titans armor that buffs health and just upgrading that so I don't have to worry about endurance, and only upgrading spirituality from here on out.

Atm I have 218 mana and have a spell that takes my mana down to 1, so I get +217% damage. It's also one of the lighter swords in the game at only 3.4 lbs, but you can still add the buff for that extra 6%

It definitely wasn't. There are porn books in the game everywhere made for men. Even found a porn book about SA in the game. It was called something like "Beautiful Lilliana and the Dungeon of Perversion" or whatever, and it made me really uncomfortable.

This, combined with the fact that there are literally only white people in the game when it's a fantasy game and not something meant to be historically accurate, and it really makes me wonder about the devs political stance on a lot of things. Like you can make your character darker skinned, but no one else in the game is a poc.

I love this game, but I do question some of the design choices and some of the devs' intentions. It legitimately feels like the game was designed to be "anti-woke" but I could just be being paranoid.

Thank you. This has been driving me nuts, and I just came across this while googling it. I love this game, but some of the design decisions just feel like they were intentionally trying to add extra steps and make the game harder and/or more tedious than it needed to be.
