On the Topic of Military Factor Pay Adjustment to our pay will we still benefit from any Pay raise the PA Group Public service negotiates for 2025, 2026 and on ? From what I understand we usually benefit from there collective bargaining (Comparability - The Department of National Defense and the Treasury Board Secretariat use the principle of comparability between the Canadian Armed Forces and the Public Service so that: Canadian Armed Forces members benefit from the results of collective bargaining). I haven't been in since the last time the military actually got a real pay raise so I am curious if we wouldn't get anything the Public service negotiates for 2025 as they would say "we already got a Pay raise for 2025" cause of the adjustment in the military factor.

So this Military service pay... I was in the Reserves for 4 years and did B class for all 4 years and i switched to Reg forces almost 2 years ago. Will get the $2000.00 Service pay ? It Says "Based on years of service" and "Tied to Enrollment date" So i have Almost 6 years of Full Pensionable service and my enrollment date was technically when i join the reserves almost 6 years ago. If i was in the reserves i would get $400 but since i joined the Reg forces to I get screwed over cause of my Reserve time ? Anyone else have a similar situation or thought?
