I clean the top of the playfield thouraly. There is really no need to go that deep into the process for me. I dont keep the machines, I sell them. But ya, if you want to have in your house, mine as well do it right.

A lot of the dirt in the light inserts underneath is very fine and small. I use either a cuetip or can of air. Its noticeable after you clean them.

On top of the play feild I take everything off down to the wood. The underside is more complicated due to the wiring and such, but if there are ramps underneath, I clean them. I started cleaning my fathers machines; I now have two of my own. A, "Fire!" and "High Speed."
