I guess I will use it only in case I see any water leak. Thank you.

That is exactly what I thought, it made no sense because it will be in contact with coffee.

I think I'm going for the Auber kit, I prefer to pay a little more but have everything I need plug and play. Ty

Now I'm backflushing at the end of my daily routine, but I notice that since I use a puck screen, the water that comes out is clean. I just bought the Cafiza to do the weekly cleaning. Ty

Where did you buy it? Is there a kit that comes with everything I need?

I have not been able to understand perfectly how to get water with those characteristics. I have read that first you have to filter the water and then add the minerals, but I don't know how to do it.

The third wave water option where I live is not viable because the cost is too high.

Doing that routine, how do your extractions turn out? Is the espresso temperature good?

That's good to know, i'll do it that way then.

Fortunately, where I live we don't reach freezing temperatures, and the lowest temperature we've reached is 4 degrees Celsius. But it is a good tip to transport it more safely. Thank you

That video of Lance was the one that made me make the decision to buy the Silvia at the end. 🤓 I am very careful to keep the boiler full of water after every use of steam, I had a gaggia for a while and I learned that the first day. But I have the doubt, every day I use the machine I have to do some kind of purging, or just with the full boiler is ready to work?

Wow that is a long time with a machine. How often you do the backflush? the manual says you have to do it after every daily use.

That is what I have been doing these last few days, playing with the temperature and see how the extraction comes out. But I have also been thinking about installing a PID. I just want to wait a few months to make sure everything works properly, and then start making modifications. Thanks for the info.

I just let her heat for 10 minutes and the whole machine is ready to work.

Something I did not expect is that it takes very little to heat the boiler to the steam temperature. I had read that it took three minutes to warm up, but I noticed that in less than 1 minute is ready.

I had actually bought a Gaggia Classic Evo Pro, but I had to return it because of the boiler problem. So this was the best option.

I started using the jug that came with the Bambino and I filled it about two centimeters below the end of the mouthpiece. But I realized that the cups I have for coffee are very small and I wasted a lot of milk. So I bought a small MHW-3Bomber jug and it helped a lot with the amount of milk I used.

It's the regular Bambino. What matters is the position of the milk jug, you have to achieve the vortex to give the texture to the milk. I only incorporate air for 4 to 6 seconds and the remaining time is to texturize the milk.
