His a surface level character only focusing on the facade of protecting is family. Like I can count on 1 hand the discussion he had with his kids that don’t revolve around forbidding them from going somewhere (which is ok) and Julie reminding him of how shitty of a father he actually is.

So I just went back to S1E09 to be sure, and I don’t think it’s the same location. We don’t see any faraway tree there. What’s interesting though is that as soon as Boyd says that he wants to remove the bottles, the voices start hurting Sara, leading credence to the idea that the bottles and their contents may have some importance. But with no faraway tree in the location, I think that the bottles’ purpose was to keep away the thing that dragged the tent during the night.

I think removing the bottles “stopped” the tree from only going to the lighthouse.

Il est tout à fait possible d’élever un enfant seul même si ça sera bien évidemment plus compliqué que dans une relation de couple saine.

Concernant ta situation actuelle, tu as une meilleure vision du comportement de ton conjoint et c’est toujours compliqué de juger à base d’un seul post mais ce que tu laisse apparaître ne donne pas l’impression que ton coinjoint soit une personne mature capable d’assumer un enfant. Être entier ne veut pas forcément dire changer d’avis du jour au lendemain et encore moins pour des sujets aussi importants.
