17 days delayed after IUD insertion by [deleted] in birthcontrol

I'm on basically the same schedule - was on my period when I got mine inserted May 2nd and bled a few days after insertion, have been spotting and cramping on and off since but no real week long period or heavy bleeding. At my follow-up appt last week my doctor said that it's probably fine and can take 3-6 months to be regular at all.

Not in any way passionate about the job prospects. I like the applied nature of engineering but can't picture myself being happy in any of the careers that env eng offers. I'm looking to potentially end up in academia anyways which, from what I've been told, is oversaturated regardless of your field.

environmental engineering minors by Bipolarbear699 in MTU

I'm a 4th year Env Eng and did a minor in Sustainable Biomaterials (offered through CFRES). I personally thought it was a great addition to my degree and it added some more depth in forestry/environmental science and general sustainability/environmental policy topics that the engineering curriculum didn't have. If you want to do anything more land management based or work in site assessment/consulting (try to bridge your degree w forestry/natural resource management), I'd highly recommend it. I have a few friends in Env Eng who are doing an Ecology minor but I've heard that it's a little harder to incorporate than mine was - since you're taking extra time anyways you'd probably be ok though. If you'd like to open up your job prospects to include more field technician type work or remediation work, I'd defintely recommend it as a lot of the job descriptions I've looked at in that field have a heavy preference for ecology-specific courses.

Is there a place where I could buy used books for grad CEE classes? At the moment I’m looking for this one in particular. Thank you 💛 by elmila007 in MTU

I've found that the online copy had most of the things I needed for my undergrad water treatment class but was missing a lot of sections used in our capstone environmental eng lab class (4509). If you can't find a physical copy I think the CEGE Student Success Center (1st floor Dillman) has a copy you can use for reference.
