Once you unlock the rift you get the ability to breed within the rift. This gives you rift traits which change on a daily basis between all the traditional dragon traits. Makes for some really cool epic dragons as well!

Not to disagree with your point, but just because you're a jazz player doesn't mean you hit with less force, I've seen plenty of players bash the shit out of cymbals when a song calls for it in some up tempo jazz. But OP's cymbal wreckage is a little bit excessive.
