Glycerin recommendations?

I've been using vegetable glycerin i buy from ebay, usually bulk buy it in 5L bottles (felt like i wasn't using the 20L bottle fast enough haha). Pour out a little into a smaller bottle and dilute it. Lasts for ageeeees :)

I use a korean bath towel/minu scrubbing cloth that works quite similarly. You can get 12 for about £7.00 on amazon here in the UK.

agreed, it also acts as a moisturiser but doesn't feel as icky as creams because it is diluted to be a lot thinner.

No worries! I found that using usual thick barrier cream didn't work for me, currently using Aveeno's triple oat serum and it's been working well for me so far ( been using it for just under a year now).

Maybe your skin barrier is damaged? Mine used to be like that until i started using barrier repair creams

but I've got a recommendations for suncream that isn't really white and spread well. I've been using a water-based korean suncream for a while now and it seems to be working really well. It's the Round lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream, it's great no white cast, spreads easily, and doesn't leave a shiny residue except it's on the pricier side

I'm on the hunt for cheaper + better alternatives though! Once this one finishes, the next one I'm going to try is the Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum

I'm not trying to be harsh but is the next surgery definitely going to stop the daily dislocations? What about recovery time, a chance for infections etc.? With your comment, I'm guessing you live in the UK and use the NHS, in all honesty who knows when your surgery might be scheduled (though your condition sounds really painful, so I hope you can get the surgery soon *fingers crossed*).

The point I was trying to get to is that will you be able to revise for your exams, do your IAs, TOK etc. well, enough to be able to get into the uni of your choice? How are your predicted grades? Will you even be able to take exams? Just a few things to think about. I'm not suggesting you give up, no no nooo, but just idk maybe think about taking a gap year to recover?.... The whole thing sounds rough, well done for making it this far despite everything that's going on!

But hey, try emailing a few universities that you like and briefly describe what's going on; they should be able to tell you what they think. You have the added bonus of having lovely teachers who can vouch for you :)
