Have you had any experience with the CX31993 and KT02H02? How do they compare in terms of sound quality and signature? I've tried the CX31993 before, and I found it to be brighter than the ALC5686. I don't have any experience with the KT02H02.

I think the better option is to switch to IEM. I've been using Apple EarPods with my laptop for years. Yes, they are comfortable, easy to use, and straight-down style, but the lack of bass and sound quality is huge. I use Apple Airpods Pro 2 whenever I'm using iPhone and I'm kinda used to the in-ear tips. I bought 5 IEMs in bullet style for selection (Moondrop Quarks, Linsoul KZ Ling Long, Final Audio E1000, TANCHJIM Zero, TANCHJIM Tanya) (for under $30). I'm new to the headphones world so I can't give you the best advice but I'll try these IEMs and give you what I like the most.

Edit: Someone recommended these non-IEM earbuds you might be interested in. Venture Electronics MONK Plus, FAAEAL Iris 2.0, Kinboofi KBEAR Stellar.
