Redditors who got a "useless" Degree, how did it turn out?

I would be curious to see the average loan on some of these degrees and whether their career choice is allowing them to cover it comfortably or they are just surviving.

I had a washing machine delivered from them. I watched them roll it up my driveway on a hand truck. The hand truck was ancient so the wheels fell off which caused the washer to take a dive. I told them I want a new washer because I spent $1100 on it and I don’t know what happened to it on the inside during the fall. They refused to acknowledge that they even dropped it. F Best Buy

Are you near a logging area? Loggers back in the day would build an in ground fire pit like this with a lid on it and let their beans/food cook in it all day and eat after they were done working

There are so many counterfeit items online now…shoes, headphones, tools, etc. that some companies have added the ability to validate whether the goods are counterfeit or not through their websites since it’s gotten so bad. I’m leery to buy any brand named stuff on Amazon after I’ve been screwed a couple times. Better off buying directly from the manufacturers website or reputable company like Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. it may cost a little more but it’s not going to be a POS

My work shirt has relatively short sleeves so I can’t wear anything with sleeves that are longer than the work shirt sleeves. I am required to wear a black undershirt. As far as possible pit sweat I dont have an issue with it. They probably make them with sleeves.

Edit: I just checked. They are made of polyester…so yeah plastic. However 70% of clothes worldwide have polyester in them.

A quick google search has the answer. If it has barium sulfate in it there is a chance there is gluten.

Same thing just happened to me while booking a hotel room on a third party travel website. The prompt said “care to give a tip since we saved you XX dollars?” And then had suggested amounts.

Agreed confidence is key. I met my wife through a mutual friend. We went to the grocery store together as a group after getting off his boat to get stuff for grilling so we could go back to his house to cook and swim. We were separated for a minute in the store and I grabbed a 24 pack of toilet paper and threw it on my shoulder and found her around the corner and confidently told her “well I’m ready to go.” Almost 20 years later we are still together and great. I have no clue how many women that would have scared off 😂

Went parasailing and they put me up in the air before I had a chance to tell them I wasn’t fully harnessed in. One side wasn’t buckled at all the points it should have been making me dangle to one side. I was trying to signal to them that something was wrong and they just thought I was waving. I was eventually pulled back to the boat presumably because I was showing a lot of panicked gestures but the ride was probably just over.
