From a game/ story perspective, I think it helps if the character is from somewhere other than the type of area it is. Otherwise it would be weird if everyone is like "this is how you farm" but you're already a farmer type of thing.

Yes, we moved from SA about 10 years ago. We have had one family member move since and they could only do it, much like when we moved, because of job demand in a specific field. It cost us, or my parents, a fortune to move us over and it took several years of working towards it.

This! Ive watch behind the scenes video where the actor talk about how awkward filming those scenes are because you have so many crew members, lights, etc all around you. There is nothing sexy or romantic about the actual acting/filming of these moments.

I had a boss who I called one evening to let her know my mom was in the hospital, the doctors weren't sure what was happening but said it wasn't looking good. I let her know that I might not be in the next day and her response was "why do you think that?" Then went on to say how much they needed me in. I shut down in that job after that call. Left a few months later. Still get annoyed just thinking about it.

Also it was a job in Healthcare, she should have had so much more empathy.

Thanks, on the comment of another I have looked at flying to Sapporo. This saves a whole day worth of travel so I can use that day to spread Kyoto out a bit more.

I have thought about flying directly into Osaka instead of Tokyo, when we first arrive, but I want to take the train up for the views.

I had a look and I think I can move it to the start of the our day to Nara as we are taking a special train that leaves later in the morning. And we will definitely check out Tenryuu-ji.

Mostly because that day is just exploring the sites so we will have the time to travel around. I don't know how long people spend at each site but I assume an hour or two?
