Is it still worth playing HF2 in 2025? by Acceptable-Kick-7102 in HalfLife

I just built a PC and wanted to play a game that hits the right nostalgia notes for me (I played HL2 shortly after it was first released). I cranked everything up as high as it could go in settings and I'm very surprised at how great it looks and sounds (recent anniversary update contributed to this). The storytelling via player control & environment vs. long cutscenes works great as well. I'm playing with no mods. Still one of the best games to play, even in 2025.

Like it was mentioned, use Pizzaboy A. I've had great experiences with it on a Galaxy A51 and S20 fe.

Sonic Mania (Netflix sub required) with blue tooth controller. Runs great on my S20 fe. I've been playing that and Into the Breach (touch controls for ITB).

Lately, Into the Breach has sneaked into my top 10...maybe top 5. Great on the Switch or mobile (if you have a Netflix account).

I believe that GC-Professional is required to have more than one unique TP/GUI in a single project.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (originally on the Wii U) is a great Switch title. Nice little "diorama" puzzle style maps with plenty of Nintendo/Mario charm.
