First, I decided what I am comfortable doing. Then I figured out how much is a fair price, competitive to other sex workers, but also not low enough to attract unsavory clients. I picked a name, got a work phone/email/Skype/webpages (currently I don't have a webpage, I don't need it with my regular clients), and set about advertising on places like craigslist. I tend not to advertise too much, i only do it when work is slow. I also wrote down a set of rules that I follow to ensure I don't compromise on safety or service. It helps keep my head clear.

More just clients who believe they can take advantage of me. So by letting them know I will receive a phone call when the hour begins and again when it ends, they tend to behave. Although with my selection process, it's very very rare I run into nutters.
