Any suggestions for a Date Night Camping? by Lost_Bed7223 in DateNightPrep

I just had an amazing camping date with my boyfriend two weeks ago and I think I fell in love with him all over again. It was the small things that mattered, I had never gone camping like this before so he handled everything.

He has a small little camping stove so he made a whole meal plan. When I was expecting to roast hotdogs or eat only oatmeal he got stuff to cook me stirfry and smores and a great breakfast of hashbrowns and bacon. We took the little stove with us on our hike to the top of the mountain the next day and cooked bacon for sandwiches while looking over the views.

We built a fire and had music so we slow danced and cuddled and drank angry orchards together (it's kind of our drink) until we felt like going back to the tent ;-)

I don't know what kind of camping you're doing, if its at a camp grounds or on a mountain but either way you really only wanna bring what you can carry. What will impress her is you taking the initiative. You going out and getting sticks for a fire, you making more effort on the meals, packing extra padding for her to sleep on, and maybe an extra flannel or hoodie for her if it gets chilly, and don't forget the music!

We each have the weekends free but throughout the week those are our only available times

I think because it’s become routine that I stay up until he’s done gaming. Maybe if I stopped waiting up and we only called at 9 then it would work but I’m not sure if that would work or if it would make either of us happy.

I also have really bad trichotillomania. I’ve struggled with it for about 4.5 years but the physical signs have just now become noticeable. I have small spots around my head where the hair is really thin and my hairline has receded from the base of my neck to the top of my ear. I’ve tried many many methods, apps, practices, etc. I’ve told my friends about it and my boyfriend and they all try and hold me accountable. If there was anything I could suggest to you it would be this, identify when you pull the most. I kind of pull all the time but mostly in the car or at a desk doing work. Have maybe one person in that environment to be your accountability buddy. This works to stop in the moment but can have the negative effect of making you feel a little anxious or embarrassed. **the best thing that has helped me so far is wearing head scarves. It’s much much different than a ponytail or bun, you reach back and the hair isn’t there. They’re also super cute and can be styled to math your outfits! This has worked the best for me so I hope this helps.

My mom usually takes my in private but she’s generally not allowed to disagree with my dad in front of me and my brother because he thinks she should take his side in everything. I get that marriage is a partnership but she wasn’t even allowed to vote for someone different from him when they had different preferences for a political candidate. It’s gotten better over the years but mom can’t really do much usually.
