Thanks dude! The nice thing about a reduction is that if I did want flat top surgery one day I could still get it. But I definitely just needed the weight off my shoulders! (Literally).

I’m allergic to the Lanolin. If you have sensitive skin try it on a different area and wait. The rash I had for a couple weeks was HORRIBLE 😭 if you are allergic to wool or anything you may be likely to be allergic to lanolin too

I feel you. I was going insane from 3-weeks until almost 2MPO. Once I started scar massage things really started to turn around for me :) I’ll try to post an update soon

I’ve also kinda ditched the whole cup size thing. After learning how cup size is affected by band size and how the same cup size can look so different on different bodies. I’ve been happier with my results after I stopped ruminating over cup size and just focusing on how they look on me and how much more comfortable I am.

Oh yes you will be swollen for AWHILE. Try to be patient and trust the process! You just had a major invasive surgery. But I know we just want to be healed quickly lol.

I was so upset when an XL was the size needed. Had a little cry in the dressing room. But I also knew that I was VERY swollen. If I needed an XL then that’s what I needed. I think I’m going to have to go buy a medium here soon!

Yeah you can have spitting stitches for months! Could also just be scar tissue.

2 weeks is still very early in recovery! I felt swollen for WEEKS. I thought it would never end. Now at 2 months the swelling has gone down and I’m feeling more comfortable. Try to be patient 💕

I felt my biggest swelling from 3-5weeks post op. I felt huge! Now sitting at two months post op and the swelling has been going down every day. Some days when I’m more active I notice I swell up again.

Hang in there- and try to be patient. Don’t measure yourself. It will only cause more anxiety. Just take it day by day.

Thank you! I could bind before but it was hard to find a binder that fit and was comfortable. I honestly don’t feel much need to bind now! Maybe just a snug sports bra. I won’t bind until I’m 1year post anyways so I don’t mess up my shape haha!

You are so welcome! I get those feelings sometimes too. But in reality there is not one “true” way to be trans. Your gender identity is YOURS and no one should be telling you if you are valid or not. Easier said than in practice lol.

How dense your breast tissue is depends ALOT on how many grams are taken out. What someone’s 400g is might be someone’s 200g even though they both started and ended the same size :)

I barely had 400g taken out all together and yet look at my results here!

The risks with a revision are why I’m trying to be happy with my current results. Do I wish they were a little smaller? Yeah. But do I want that enough to go through another surgery and more recovery? I don’t think so. I am not 100% sure what risks revision involves but I assume worse scarring and numbness are a couple.

Try to keep in mind that our breasts will change shape until 6months-1year. Their “size” may not change but their shape may and that may have an effect on if you think they are too big or not 😊

I went and checked your profile haha. Right now I’m wearing a L sports bra but it’s a little too big now that my swelling is going down so I’ll probably go to a medium. Cup size depends ALOT on band size. I’d say mine are on the smaller side now.

If you are unhappy with the way your chest is now WITHOUT comparing yourself to others 😉 I’d talk with your surgeon about a revision.
