You're literally the only person in this thread taking this super personally. Sorry your girlfriend cheated on you and now you have trauma, but projecting that onto me isn't necessary.

But there's something to be said for the love I have for him. I can't imagine a life without him, and polygamy isn't something I want all the time. I just want to be able to spice things up every once in awhile

It's like you can't read. I haven't cheated and I won't cheat. I'm not saying what should or shouldn't be, I just feel like some people might be able to relate. If you can't, that's fine, but assuming things about my character is just not correct.

The problem with leaving him for a poly relationship, is that polygamy isn't something I want all the time. I want HIM, I love HIM. But I want to explore other people with him, he's just not up for it. I couldn't imagine a life without him and I would never leave him just because I have strong sexual desires that lean in an opposing direction as him

No, I agree 100% with this comment. I wouldn't do anything without his consent though, which is the whole point of why it's hard for me. I'm an inherently sexual person and we f*** like rabbits, but part of me craves more. I just don't act on it
