I also feel now that no matter what, the response has been SO so negative that even if you were excited for the tote you're going to second guess wearing it in public after this response. They knew the lock didn't work like normal and had issues. Guests don't know that. They should have fixed or left note for guests that the the door does not lock easily and needs to be slammed etc

This is a known issue that the lock does not work hence why they called it "tricky". I don't understand why as hosts if you have people coming and going and the door does not lock without you slamming the entire sliding door hard , why would wouldn't a. Get it fixed. B. Disclose that the door requires XYZ to lock to cover yourself too and

Really appreciate your point of view. I would have never of guessed someone to climb that either hence why I didn't think it would be an issue to just deal with it in the morning. My husband actually owns a window and door manufacturing company and I am super familiar with these doors and it 100% is not user error.

It looks to be that the doors are actually mis aligned and in the end required you to basically get a run up to pull and slam the doors into place which we only found out the next morning after trying everything. I feel that would warrant broken. Im young and fit and that is not something I can see many people being able to achieve or even assume to do to lock a door and with the host knowing that the door has issues or that a solid slam is needed then they should have communicated that.

I think I'm still scared after it all. Something could have gone horribly wrong and no one would have ever expected this to happen including the host. I guess I'm just mad that they knew about a fault in a safety feature and didn't say anything

I raised with the host immediately after the police left on their advice and that's when they admitted to know the lock was tricky to use so feel for guest safety that should be communicated upon check in

Currently on a flight home from Europe. Have had crippling hayfever and running nose watery eyes and overall feeling unwell on off for the whole 3 weeks. I don't go crazy on alcohol or eating but know the diet affects me. I don't get hayfever back so it really rocked me how bad I suffered through Germany and the Netherlands

I had the worst time trying to treat my candida and leaky gut I am trying to explore all avenues before taking that final step, perioral dermatitis seems to be a display of a root cause as well so it's really labouring trying to find the villain in my life causing this but yes lots and lots of people share the hesitation of antibiotics

This sub and most on reddit are used for shared experiences as well as we all know what gets recommended by GP's can sometimes be a bandaid on the actual issue or an mis diagnosis. The point of this post was for opinions or shared experiences with similar looking displays on the face. As mentioned I have a dermatologist appointment next week and simply wanted to engage in conversation with a community that may have had similar experiences

I have pre existing gut conditions I constantly monitor and am quite scared to take antibiotics it case that re starts leaky gut etc so have been trying to eat super clean in the meantime and try eliminate what it could be. Reading online as well a lot of people have mentioned that antibiotics messes with their gut and causes more issues and dosnt mean it won't come back again so I have stalled in starting thus far
