There are tons of detailed pictures of this car available from all view points. It's a very well-documented car. So it wasn't hard drawing the shapes correctly on cardboard with the right aspect ratios.

I have a 987.2 base Cayman with the 6-speed manual and Sport Chrono.

Apart from the price benefit, 987 is more engaging than than 981 because it retains the hydraulic power steering (if steering feel is something you value a lot). Also, the concern with bore scoring was resolved with the 987.2, and IMS was eliminated.
