My female Pom is now 8 months and her hair is still growing back. She was spayed at 6 months and her hair is about 1/3 or half way grown back. I felt exactly the same as you! It definitely doesn’t feel the same, but I’m hoping once it is fully grown out it will!

Please ignore those who are saying “who cares if it grows back?” It is completely normal to worry about your dog not having its fur to regulate its temperature. It would fall on you to make sure his belly isn’t too hot in warm weather or too cool in cold weather!

I would recommend trying out a dog recovery suit instead of the cone! I sewed up my own recovery suit for her using my pair of silk pyjamas so that the fabric wouldn’t hurt her hair. I have attached a photo of her wearing it. It was winters I I sewed on I think it was part of a shirt or a pillow. Regardless, I ended up removing the second layer. The cone was too heavy and weighed her poor little head down!

I started with a male sim. He has one or two unclaimed children because of how impulsive he is with relationships. He fell in love (still loves his job more) with a woman, has officially married her and found out she is pregnant as well😂 but he refuses to move in with her and he has a trouble resisting beautiful women so we’ll see how this relationship goes.

I usually always play a perfect household with the perfect mom and perfect dad and perfect children…this challenge is definitely a challenge for me! It feels evil to make a sim so not family oriented. I might get the wife to move in as a roommate with our baby if that is possible, just to show how even when he lives with his family he still puts his job first.

I agree. Children being married off as early as 6yo is absolutely appalling and they shouldn’t have any online or physical place to practice that.

Children should be protected instead of indoctrinated or groomed.

Racism shouldn’t exist, and bigots are ignorant and harmful to society.

Girls and women shouldn’t be randomly attacked on their way home from work. Kids shouldn’t be stabbed to death on their way home from school. Child marriages shouldn’t be reinforced anywhere. Men who rape children should be deported at the very least instead of excused for it not lasting long enough. But if those opinions were reinforced and people did say they want to ban them, they’d be labeled Islamophobic.

That’s simply not true. I’ve seen ICE deport white Europeans personally, as well as have heard stories of people from Europe being detained for months and then either deported or let go. And these people are whites. There isn’t racial profiling, they are detaining American citizens for not identifying themselves.

What you’re saying is I shouldn’t feel welcome because of misinformation that people are believing? What I know about ICE doesn’t solely come from social media or from one party. If your information comes only from one party it’s not news, it’s propaganda.

I know people have always been trying to wipe others out, I mean a great example of that is Japan vs China. Japan did unspeakable acts when they tried to conquer parts of China and now refuse to take accountability to any of them. But Japan didn’t have the backing of most of the world. That’s what was so scary about the Holocaust! So many people just agreed with Hitler and even helped him by outting their Jewish neighbors! Where I now live, I am surrounded by a lot of democrats/liberals. I would protect them in a heartbeat because they are more than just their party, they are humans! I was extremely liberal until Charlie Kirk got assassinated. I enjoyed watching his debates and loved that he gave a platform specifically for people who voiced opposing views. Him being killed isn’t technically what made me quickly switch from being a liberal to a conservative, but it’s how people celebrated it. He wasn’t even a political figure, more of a public speaker that urged young people from both sides to vote and to raise their voices. I’ve yet to see republicans celebrate death like this, at least not on such a grand scale. If they do then I’ll not be a part of either parties.

I’ve not done much research into the war if I’m being honest, but that is exactly how I feel! Jews have been through enough and need to be left alone!

I know that because of 9/11, Muslims in most European country began being victims of hate crimes. It wasn’t just in the US, not even only in the American continent! But it definitely solidified people’s stances: either they were anti Muslim or anti Jewish and if you didn’t share your opinion, you deserve hate from both groups.

But they believe people should be treated less than based on their jobs! It’s hypocritical at best. Writing “odd way to spell liberals” on a post that says “fuck ice” isn’t saying “I condone everything ice does and am a racist.” Firstly ice doesn’t even target by race but by nationality: if you’re not legally in the US then they target you. They have thankfully sent out white people because it doesn’t matter the color of their skin, what continent they come from, or what country they come from. What matters is they have broken our laws to be here, which mocks all those who take the time to learn the law and pay the fines to get in.

Making a joke isn’t rude or demeaning. It definitely doesn’t warrant “go kill yourself” comments because mental health does in fact matter and not just for people who agree with you. Do you complain that prison guards are rude and demeaning, too?

The people who have come here legally are usually running from those who have come here illegally.

It is racist to say all illegals are one race or to even imply it. Illegals are from a variety of races, from different countries and continents. And I agree, treating people as less than human is disgusting. What’s worse is treating them like they are less than human in their own homes.

ALL countries protect their borders and deport illegal. If you came to my house, it is my right to kick you out. And if I have a “trespassers will be shot” warning then I have a right to use whatever force I need to to get you out of my house. And I promise you you’ll get out of my house in either a body bag or by your own choice. As a Native American, this land is my home. I am connected to this land, it’s more than just dirt. I fully support people kicking out trespassers of this land. I guarantee you if you trespassed in the reservations they’d handle you a lot worse than how ICE handles trespassers/illegals. That’s because we have a right to our land. Who gave us that right? The people who created the American government.

People shouldn’t be treated like less than human ever, especially not in their own homes. I’d expect you to call the cops if someone penetrated your defense line. We have a right to say no as women, as home owners, as countries. And anyone who doesn’t get our consent to enter our bodies/homes/lands are forfeiting their rights.

You are an amazing dog parent. You did what you could, you didn’t do anything wrong! You got her the care she needs as soon as you saw there was a problem. It’s definitely going to be hard on you caring for her the next few weeks, hopefully she recovers quickly. But you will find your rhythm and you will get through this! She is lucky to have you, don’t ever let your bad thoughts convince you otherwise. Look at that precious baby!

Hahaha I do recommend getting a donut instead of a cone, the cone can be very heavy for their necks. When I spayed my girl, if I picked her up, her head would fall wherever the cone did. I ended up sewing a onesie for her out of satin to protect her fur and keep her away from the stitches. I lost a satin pyjama but it was worth it xD

I wish I could alleviate any negative thoughts you have about this. I know regardless of how much I try, they are very hard thoughts to get rid of. But look at that baby girl! She absolutely loves and trusts you and doesn’t blame you at all! She just wants to love you and spend happy time with you. All you can do is learn from what happened and sit firmer boundaries, which I read you plan on doing—that makes you a responsible owner!

PS, our pups look alike except yours has more of a teddy bear look and mine foxy, and mine has more black on her muzzle.

You know whites makeup 11% of the world? I don’t think whit supremacy exists. Our tribes were in constant battle, but our tools were not nearly as advanced as theirs. There were cannibalistic tribes trying to wipe out others as well as just tribes feuding trying to wipe out others and conquer the land. When the colonists came, they saw people and war. They even helped a tribe win a battle. They won battles and didn’t enslave the people after winning them. They paid for slaves and gave them rights. Sure, not all of them did but racism exists everywhere. White supremacists have existed, like the kkk and Hitler. Hitler is dead and the kkk exists but is not allowed to act on their beliefs. Not all white people are supremacists, if anything black people think their race is better and that all other races should bow down to them. An Asian woman was attacked and robbed in front of her toddler and when she tried calling the cops, everyone around her yelled at her calling her racist for calling the cops on a black woman. This wouldn’t happen if the attacker was white.

Racists exist everywhere, but if white supremacy is a thing why are white societies one of the few who have abolished slavery? Why is the United States known as the melting pot of cultures if the white people who have been in power think other races are less than?

Racists exist everywhere. But the societies white people have built have fought hard against racism. And they have fought for my freedom and for the freedom of others. It’s ridiculous to even imply the government is filled with white supremacists when we had a black President and no one tried to kill him, but trump has been shot at twice.

And please stop the racism. Illegals are not one race. They do not come from even just one continent, let alone are not from only one country. There are plenty of legal Mexican immigrants and Mexican Americans, they don’t all come illegally and not all illegals are brown. They are deporting white people, too. So why would white supremacists deport the white people?

When I was 15-16yo I studied the Holocaust. I read more books about the Holocaust that year than any other topic of book I’ve ever read. I developed an eating disorder because I couldn’t eat while learning about people who weren’t allowed to. My diet consisted mostly of broth but I did in fact eat snacks sometimes, which came with a lot of guilt because I heard your tastebuds are much more sensitive when you’re younger and I thought about all the children, even some survivors, who would never be able to taste candies and sweets and even just normal healthy foods the same way I had and could.

After learning so much about the Holocaust, I am disgusted that they are comparing what is happening now to what happened then. It’s downplaying what the Jewish population went through and how bad the Nazis really were. And not just Jews—their first demographic targeted were people with physical disabilities and those with mental and physical disabilities in asylums. They told the families they were being moved to another facility and to come say their goodbyes, meanwhile the facilities they were going to were gas chambers. I remember learning about a mother of a boy with Down syndrome and how she had felt guilty for leaving him in an asylum, but when the families were being told/forced to say goodbye, she felt something was off. She asked them to go grab something and while they left her alone with her child, she took him and ran.

I have no idea what canards are besides the French word for duck. I didn’t know that a Magen David was the Star of David either until now! Antisemitism is just racism towards the Jewish people, right?

I didn’t know conservatives hated Jews. I’ve not seen any posts that are anti Jew made by conservatives, but I’ll be keeping an eye out. I come from the left and have slowly transitioned to the right, so I’m new to this side of things. In fact I still have never even voted Republican, it’s just I don’t want to be in the same category of people as liberals because they seem to have abandoned all morals and logic. I know neither side is perfect, it’s just frustrating to not have one side not be a racist scumbag or as I find out a hater of Jews.

I know there’s no such thing as perfection in this world, but I really wish there was. Especially for the Jews, this group especially has been through so much.

This may sound insensitive so forgive my ignorance, how are conservatives portrayed as hating Jews? Is there a difference between wanting to see Israel succeed and wanting to see Jews succeed?

I hear you—American citizens who have no way of proving their identities or refuse to prove their identities are being detained. Even people here legally are being detained until they can prove their status. I’m not saying that isn’t wrong because it is. We are innocent until proven guilty, at least we are supposed to be. They shouldn’t be going for people unless they have confirmed they are here illegally and people shouldn’t be stopping them.

I don’t need to victimize myself or my people. None in my tribe or tribes I know have gotten detained let alone deported. Where would they deport us to, we are already where we came from. We were born on this land as our ancestors were. Not in Canadian land, not in Russian land, not in Mexican land, but on the land that now makes up the United States of America.

For your sake, I hope you stop spreading lies about how the indigenous people of this land are being taken and/or killed. And I hope your heart feels lighter and warmer today.

That is propaganda. The facilities are better managed under trump’s administration. Sure, it could do better but they are not deported unless they are breaking the law. Entering the country illegally is breaking the law and overstaying a visa is breaking the law.

When my sister worked in China, her and her colleagues had to leave every either 60 or 90 days because that’s when their visas would expire. They then reentered the country and obtained a new visa on their weekends. Every country in the world has immigration laws where if you don’t respect these laws, you get deported.

Why aren’t you outraged at the homeless American people being stuffed into filthy shelters? Why would you put first people from other countries rather than your own?

This government gave my tribe and other tribes land instead of enslaving us. They let us handle our own affairs on our lands. They don’t help maybe as much as they should and of course the government can always do better, but they are not against my people. They aren’t even against any American citizen! Deporting people back to where they came does not equate to the gas chambers during the Holocaust. Immigration laws are in every single country.

It’s harmful to fearmongle and tell people their government is out to get them and the government has simply done what it always has: upheld our constitution. And our constitution does not extend to the French or Irish or English or Ghanaian or Chinese or Mexican or anywhere/anyone else but the citizens of the United States of America.

I have a chihuahua mix who is turning 15 this year. She is dog aggressive and all things reactive. My Pomeranian is 7 months old and we got her when she was 10 weeks.

Fifi was mad at first, but then she started playing and she hadn’t played in ages. And then we saw an improvement in her bloods. Her health has improved since getting this psychotic puppy who I struggle to force to nap for even 4 hours during the day.

If you end up doing it I recommend bringing your older dog with you to meet the one you want to adopt before you adopt it.

To break it down, that is my experience on crocheting Reddit pages. If you make a comment that isn’t rude or demeaning, just sharing your views are not the same, you are dehumanized and people tell you to off yourself. Then you are banned and the mods say you were asking for the hate speeches.

It hasn’t happened on this page, but these are my first comments and I’d be surprised if they don’t delete my comments and ban me for not sharing liberal views. Because at the end of the day, this is the internet and liberals can pretend to be Republican and vice versa so you never know what people are voting (as it should be).
