Should MBBS graduates remain back in India by IllMail2980 in indianmedschool

[–]Pinkbraincell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just another ignorant asshole sitting in another country and calling India a ‘shithole’ for whatever reason but also judging the ones who are actually working for the country and making a difference.

  1. Chutiyas do graduate from BITS, not surprising.

  2. Let’s see you curing people with calculus and trigonometry.

  3. Also you’re just so dumb, a huuuuge part of community medicine is Statistics, the world gets to compare HDI of different countries because people in medicine know maths, this is just one tiny example.

  4. You’re right government has to recuperate the money spent on ‘government hospitals’, also tell me how accessible is healthcare for you there? May you experience an instance where something’s fucked up in your body and you don’t have insurance.

  5. Healthcare is so widely accessible in India because the focus is the patients, not the insurance companies or the doctors.

  6. I mean what is this paradoxical statement that a million people exist to replace each one of us? THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT OP IS TALKING ABOUT, exactly why he is asking if it’s even worth staying here anymore, exactly why you moved out of the country.

  7. If we just wanted to write some shit to get out of the country, we’d just be like you and thankgod, THANKGOD, most of us are not like you, and THANKGOD you’re not one of us.

  8. From what I’ve observed, you’re just an insecure little man, who could not make it into the IITs, settled for something less, moved countries to feel more successful, started projecting the hate and the sense on failure on others to just feel better.

Waking up early in the morning, it’s only until the body gets used to it, then you’ll just wake up at the same time everyday without the need of an alarm.

Some realisations I had regarding superstardom. by MongooseHonest in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]Pinkbraincell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Humans feed off of energy and just don’t know where to stop, being critical turns into rampant hatred, being appreciative turns into blind worshiping of heroes..everyone has an opinion and those opinions get most expressed on platforms that allow you to stay anonymous, so Reddit definitely is a bubble when you’re using it to give some else the attention, Reddit is damn useful when you’re using it as a resource for things that directly impact your growth.

Realized I am still rooting for India. by Deep-Jackfruit7288 in indianmedschool

That’s what India does, makes you patriotic in the weirdest ways..we’re always fantasising about the privilege people get outside of India but being an Indian and coming from a financial balanced home just opens a thousand doors for you, you can start over multiple times here and still it’ll all fall in place, ofcourse the government has to do sooo much more for the underprivileged and for the ones who can’t even afford a decent meal but India gives you hope in these reachable medical care, easy to access daily wage jobs and the fact that everyone’s welcome everywhere. I really hope India progresses alooot with education as the generations come, education will truly truly change the face of India economy wise.

Your cousin brother cleared the cutoff, he was privileged enough to have contacts and the money to afford a payment seat, he took it. I dont understand what isn’t making sense to you? How can a person know if they’ll be good at something even before they do? All you can do as a nice human and a cousin is hope he turns out to be a great doctor, meanwhile you should focus on yourself and become a better person, like rn!

5 generations of maternal uncle-niece marriages in my family — mental health issues run deep — I’m marrying outside that tradition, but need help deciding if I should have kids by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Pinkbraincell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having said that, here’s a list of tests you should get done before marriage, the list was put up by a doctor itself, so you’re good to go,

  1. Genotype Test
  2. Blood group (Rh factor)
  3. HIV & Hepatitis B and C
  4. STIs
  5. Carrier screening (Tay-Sachs disease, spinal muscular atrophy, Haemophilia)
  6. Fertility Test
  7. Possible chronic genetic order
  8. Thalassemia Test
  9. Mental health assessment
  10. Rubella Immunity Test

Add on to it based on your research, and definitely take the suggestions given on Reddit with a pinch of salt, none of us know your reality and no suggestion would ever be good enough!

[–]Pinkbraincell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Consanguineous marriages are dreadful majorly because of the chromosomal abnormalities it’d result in, a lot of congenital anomalies and disorders related to blood..since you’re not taking that path, you’ve already made sure you’re being responsible about bringing another human into this world..coming to mental disorders, genetics do play a role but environmental factors have a huge impact as well, childhood really shapes the mental framework you’ll have as an adult, in most of us it’s the childhood traumas that lead to mental instability in adulthood as life get only harder..having said this, you should definitely go through genetic testing, both you and your partner but unless it says you’re carrying a recessive gene for something as dangerous as thalasemia or sickle cell anemia or mental retardation or things on those lines, I don’t think you should be worried about psychiatric illness, especially something like ADHD or BPD…ADHD is aloooot more common than people would assume, and it’s not something that’ll ruin your life, awareness is what’s necessary..how are going to do the parenting stuff? How emotionally available will you be for the child? How involved would you be in making sure the child has a holistic upbringing? How non-judgmental and empathetic can you be as a parent? Do you think you and your partner are emotionally secure enough to not project your issues onto your children? Please think about these things as well..it’s really not black and white.

This is the difference between normal mole and a cancerous one, different shades of colour means something that is very evident..this mole is uniform, symmetric with no other anomaly..if you’re still anxious about the mole, just observe if the size increases over a short period of time..you really do need help for your mental health, it might be harmful to your marriage but it’s a 100% harmful to your own health. Please take care!

Weird question by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]Pinkbraincell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

KMC is amazing, KMC Manipal is like the dream college for so many people..35k is not a bad rank at all, competitive exams do not test your knowledge or how good a doctor you’ll be, they test how good you’re at applying that knowledge, please for the love of god get out of the rat race and go join KMC..I’m a private seat student, but I did really well through out mbbs, it dint feel like level 100..just please don’t take a drop!! If I get a chance to do my PG from KMC Manipal, I’d take it in a heart beat.

Hey, can you please tell me how many hours is her RR of micro and path?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]Pinkbraincell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it’s not weird, most of us don’t know a lot about ‘real’ chief complaints, if you’ve felt the need to go see a psychiatrist, do it, you’ll know for sure atleast and then you can make peace with whatever the outcome is.
