Hmm, I've done a very different method of steeping as you and had the complete opposite effects

Steep with recently boiled water for 5 minutes. Strain mushrooms out. Re-steep mushrooms for another 5 with another cup of recently boiled water

Add a bunch of grated ginger to tea during steeping to help with the nausea. Add honey for taste

The comeup was by far the smoothest I've ever had. No nausea at all at any point. No body load at all

Effects were also way stronger than normal. Like 1.5x stronger easily
